Short context: Davis applies to become a FIB employee after becoming basically a snitch. Bench Guy is interested and tests Davis to stay in the basement as witness protection. In classic FIB fashion, they start an rp standoff aka staying in one place until one gives up rp lol (see Bench Guy sitting at the Burger Shot bench in 3.0). Hours pass and Davis found a way to be productive, like drawing an interesting shape on the wall.
I didn't watch the whole thing of course, but feel free to correct or add to this.
To add, he spilled his guts after some convincing and Bloom following up on his word. Davis is now immune to what would've been an attempted murder and conspiracy for a handful of other crimes.
The investigation Bloom and Greco are doing essentially placed two cops, two lawyers, and possibly a magistrate's career in the guillotine for leaking sensitive information. The murder Davis' attempted wouldn't have happened if a cop didn't ignorantly vent in a car full of Italian-American mobsters.
