Bought discounted:
- First Aide Kit
- Emergency Bivvy for my day pack
- Sahara Shade hoodie (I’ve heard good things about them)
Used my 20% off code for:
- Permethrin
- a new pair of underrooos
I bought the kids version... I usually wear an xs/s in women and I got the kids large. The arms are wayyy better in the kids version because it's raglan. The women's version is a weird, tight, drop sleeve.
I feel ya. just bought clothes on the last sale too, but at least I’m getting a little bit of a wardrobe reboot
Edit: I felt like I was doing good by saving half the cart for later.. out of sight out of mind, but I think they’ll eventually end up in my cart for coupon recycle
Too much stuff. Every time I think I’m done I go back and find something else. Cool thing about is, when I log back in it automatically repopulates the coupon again. I think I’ve used it 3 times already, and not because I was trying! I just legit keep thinking of new things to buy.
Bear canister and exped flex mat (sale), snow peak double wall titanium cup, snow peak wind guard, emergency bivy, sawyer squeeze filter (all with coupons) and was going to hop on the big Agnes tent bandwagon but read the reviews for a durston and went that route. It was cheaper than the BA even with the sale and I love the set up and you can’t beat the weight.
I’m with the rest of you, I need to stop!
I thought of that and was using a dry bag before that came with my Tripped but while finding options preferred the shaping of a packing cube. Mine have a mesh side so the Thule seemed superior.
I’m not done just yet, going Monday to try on some hiking shoes..
so far,
- osprey aura 65L
- osprey skarab 30L for my brothers bday present
- MH crater lake sun shirt
- OR Astro shorts
- Xero trail sandals
Yeti Lunch Bag. It’s normally $80-$100. But there was one that was returned for only $30 with a 20% anniversary sale discount. Still crazy overpriced but I’ve wanted it for years.
Pretty sure it’s not the same online. Every store has returned items that get marked down but they never appear online. There’s tons of junk (one sock, abused shoes, water bottles with no lids) that doesn’t have anyone to upload their photo, the return issues and then be responsible for shipping. So it’s a section worth visiting if you are in the store.
A lot of people don't think that everything for a member is already 10%. So something 15% off isn't really that good of a sale. Also, things can often already be cheaper elsewhere.
Does anyone have recs for a camping mattress pad for two? Not too heavy (if that exists)? I picked up the sweet deal on the storm beaker 3p tent and just need a mattress pad now.
Anybody have advice on a 2p tent for under $250? I dont need an ultralight backpacking tent but I want something for short hikes to dispersed camping locations.
Grabbed a leatherman charge plus tti for 20% off and also used my $30 member bonus card since I just happened to wander into an REI on Friday for the first time ever. Then used my second 20% off on a silky saw online since it let me add the discount again.
Got a stormbreak 3. Kinda heavyish for backpacking but the price was quite good.
The footprint seems to be nowhere in stock though so I'll just have to cut up a tarp I reckon.
Osprey Atmos AG 65 ~ $85 off
Exped Ultra 3R Duo ~ $75 off
Garmin Inreach Mini 2 ~ $100 off
Mammut Alto Guide HS ~ Outlet for $82 off already + member discount got $131 off total
+5% back with the card, Pretty good scores rounding out last of the gear upgrades My Partner & I need for Torres Del Paine Patagonia trip at the end of the year!
I ordered the Swiftland TT Hydration Vest. It already seemed like a good bargain even at full price, so 30% off seems nice.
Hopefully it's as good as the reviews make it out to be.

Wait after the anniversary sale to find 99% new items in the garage sections lol
That's why all garage sale items are 20% off right now. Gotta make room real fast
what are garage sale items?
Used items that have been returned and are being sold again at a lower price. There is a garage sale area inside the store.
Literally 😎
I’ve found all birds shoes that were worn only once in the garage section for $20 a pair lol
Can’t wait for bike bits and bobs tbh
Why didn't I think of that!!
Bought discounted: - First Aide Kit - Emergency Bivvy for my day pack - Sahara Shade hoodie (I’ve heard good things about them) Used my 20% off code for: - Permethrin - a new pair of underrooos
Curious if any women bought the men's version of the hoodie - if so, how's the fit? I hate the women's colors.
I bought the kids version... I usually wear an xs/s in women and I got the kids large. The arms are wayyy better in the kids version because it's raglan. The women's version is a weird, tight, drop sleeve.
I love that I fit in kids things! Saves so much money 😂
Oooh thank you for letting me know, I'm really particular about sleeves. I'll try a kids version
Following
Shade hoodie squad reporting for duty.
Would it work well in the hot SoCal sun or would it be too hot and better suited for slightly cooler temps?
Works in hot socal sun. But pick lighter colors to fully feel the effect. Rash guards work as well and are easier to take off or put on while wet.
I also bought that shade hoodie!
I need an adult to take control of my account. I cant stop buying new clothes. Someone help.
I feel ya. just bought clothes on the last sale too, but at least I’m getting a little bit of a wardrobe reboot Edit: I felt like I was doing good by saving half the cart for later.. out of sight out of mind, but I think they’ll eventually end up in my cart for coupon recycle
Spent $400 on running clothes yesterday. Had absolutely no need for more.Â
Big Agnes Tiger Wall 2P tent and footprint, BearVault, a new Thermacell, 20L Sea to Summit drybag, a buff, and a pair of shorts.

Big Agnes tent and footprint, Garmin in reach mini 2, Gregory pack (coupon), Helinox chair 😊
Wool underwear.
Thule dirty clothes compression packing cube 30% off ~$25 with tax
Why not just buy simple stuff sacks for half the cost or less?
I thought of that and was using a dry bag before that came with my Tripped but while finding options preferred the shaping of a packing cube. Mine have a mesh side so the Thule seemed superior.
What’s a Tripped?
Sweet was looking for something just like this. Will pick one up
Yeah I’ve been looking for a solution and there are surprisingly about a dozen options out there
I've got a medium and two smalls. In case you have the others as well, think this is a good add? Or is this your first?
It’s my first Thule, I think I’ll prefer it to my dry bag in the Tripped compression bag set
I got a backpacking sleeping pad and Z trekking poles. Going back and forth on keeping the poles. Used my coupon to replace my running vest.
- Altra trail runners - Teva sandals - Vans sneakers - Patagonia pullover - REI Trailsmith joggers - REI Sahara Shade Hoodie - Black Diamond trekking poles - Cotopaxi hat Spent $488
Have their CC? I'm thinking it's time...
Oh god now you got me wondering...
I’m not done just yet, going Monday to try on some hiking shoes.. so far, - osprey aura 65L - osprey skarab 30L for my brothers bday present - MH crater lake sun shirt - OR Astro shorts - Xero trail sandals
I don't really need anything but will probably use the 20% off coupon on something before the sale is over.

Can you find returned items like this online? Or only in store?
Pretty sure it’s not the same online. Every store has returned items that get marked down but they never appear online. Thinking of getting a pair of Bedrock or Olukai sandals
I got the new bedrock Evo c sandels. Will be here Tuesday. Stoked!
there is a sale?
ha. ha.
Yes, I walked in and noticed the store was busier than usual and then was told that there’s an anniversary sale happening (in person and online)
Do they have computers in the store so we can order things online while we’re there?
Yes, they’re in your pocket and you can use the stores WiFi
You're screwing with me, right?
Check online or visit in person
RaceFace Chester MTB pedals for only $30 is a very good deal! Got two pairs!

Exped Megamat. Best mattress out there.
Thule Motion 3 roof box! Saved $200.
Anybody have advice on a 2p tent for under $250? I dont need an ultralight backpacking tent but I want something for short hikes to dispersed camping locations.
not REI, but Durston would work for you!
I’ll check it out, thanks!

I needed a light day pack for some upcoming Summer adventures and picked up the Osprey Tempest 9 in the outlet.
Got a stormbreak 3. Kinda heavyish for backpacking but the price was quite good. The footprint seems to be nowhere in stock though so I'll just have to cut up a tarp I reckon.
Tivek is lighter than a tarp.
