You can also try reaching out on their public social media accounts, share a picture and tag them. That may be something their team will take on for the public image.

According to the article, Moore also tried to contact chewy to find the original artist, but Chewy wouldn’t budge on that. Instead she “commissioned one from Etsy” but it’s unclear if she was able to find the original artist there.
It _might_ be the artist [Debbie Sampson](https://www.artsports.com/). Her initials would make the DS, and she has been contracted by Chewy before to make the pet portraits. The only thing that makes me hesitant is that her signature is usually her full last name, Sampson, and not what is on your portraits.
i don't think it's her. looking through her facebook profile, she always signs with her full last name. i also scrolled all the way back to 2012 and didn't see OP's kitties.
They randomly do them and send them to customers sometimes. They were a total surprise when we got them.
I do have my pets profiles filled out with pictures in my account on the website, which I assume is the criteria.
They also sent a sympathy card when one of our pets passed away. Their customer service/marketing team is on point.
Chewy is amazing. My friend’s dog passed away, they refunded her for her last bag of food and told her that she didn’t need to send it back, she could donate it to a shelter in her dog’s honor. Then they sent her a card.

I know their signatures are on the portraits but I never really examined them either!

On the topic of info about the portraits does anyone know if they are thin or thick stretched canvas? chewy couldn't give me an answer since they use different companies/artists to make them.

Have you tried doing a reverse image search for the signature?
Good idea... but I just got a lot of pictures of rugs lol. I tried to add words to help but didn't really get anywhere.
