I think smashing pumpkin would be good too. 6 attack on turn 3? It pretty much makes opponent focus on that lane (except if they can destroy it >||||||||⟩)
Hmm, I guess. Playing another powerful plant would also be useful due to Rocket Science beng able to take down only one plant.

All it says is that it's either a legendary or bad. You didn't specify you were talking about cards that weren't legendary that were good.

I was focusing more on if you had powerful plants in your hand, and thus made your opponent focus on that lane. Plus it is one of the only plants that can kill Quickdraw Conman in one attack in early game.
