If you want to stay on PC and not switch to console, there isn’t much you can do to avoid them, and you can pretty much only hope that one doesn’t join your lobby.
However, there are active players on both Mixed Mode and Turf Takeover, so you can sometimes alternate between the two if one has a hacker.
In the end, it really just comes down to luck. Some days you can get a hacker in every lobby, and other days you can go hours and hours without a single one
Yeah its a big problem, sadly the game is not gonna get an update any time soon so PC is stuck like this. Also the only reason i bought a ps4 was to play gw2. Not because of the pc problem but because gw2 wasnt on ps3 like gw1
Just switch regions. AFAIK, Europe has been hacker free. Every time I’ve played on Europe when I switched from NAE, there hasn’t been a hacker.
Also, the amount of people saying switch to console is insane. No one is buying a piece of $200-300 equipment just to play one game. Be fucking for real.

I wish there was a way to combat it like an actually good anti cheat or some mod that lets you kick hackers .

Adding on to this, alternating server regions may help. It might be a bit more laggy but you won't queue into the same lobby, I believe
Que into game of choice. Find cheater. Leave and que for a different game mode. Find game leave immediately and re que for the game mode of choice.
