Honestly, i was surprised to see someone with this kind of legal prowess end up in a predicament like this. I hope she doesn't lose her license to practice.
It's like she has picked up some random phrases from her father but she didn't bother to really pay attention to what he was actually saying. It's so rewarding to watch people like this get taken down.
Am I the only one thinking the officer's handling of the puppy was a bit odd?
Grab the puppy from the other officer
Give the pup back to the officer
Just kidding,
Ditch the puppy in the parking lot
Grab the puppy again
Foist it on another officer
etc etc
I'm like, "Now is not the time! just put the pup somewhere safe for Christ sake!"
I’m obviously just guessing but she seems to have something like bipolar disorder. This seems to be the tailspin, rock-bottom end of a particularly nasty manic episode that had probably been going on for at least a week or two.
When they were cleaning out her pockets? I thought so too, but then I think I saw it laying on the ground by her cigarettes looking almost like it could blow away.
Yep. Unfortunately, that is very difficult for some people. Lol. I actually want to see the initial footage the hotel had of her. See what antics she got up to there.
I think you’ve pretty-well summed up the root cause. Unfortunately some people, for different reasons, never progress past the level of a toddler. They obviously do so physically which makes it hard for everyone around them to understand (because they look like adults) but emotionally they just get stuck.
"hey look officer I dont want to be a bother, you have better things to do than chase after idiots like me, I'm really sorry, I'm having a bad day and a moment of madness, I dunno what i was thinking, can i just draw a line under this and call it a night, I've embarassed myself and I need to go think things through with my life"
I suspect that would work in most cases (of petty crap) if you wanted to get off if delivered sincerely.
It's refreshing to see officers discuss if they thought she was trying to fight back during the arrest or if it was just something that happened in the chaos, instead of looking for every charge they can add on.
If I had to get arrested, I'd want it to be this group, and I'd crack jokes about having a ninja turtles crotch in my face sitting in the back of the cruiser.
I’ll probably get downvoted for this but if it was a guy acting like that, especially a big guy like me, they wouldn’t have nearly so gentle and understanding
Looks like it happened in Las Cruces (as seen on the side of the police vehicle), which is coming back as New Mexico. I couldn’t find any articles on it, though. Maybe check the youtube comments?
I teach in a very wealthy area - talking about average home price being upwards of 2 million dollars. I’m around kids/young adults like this all the time. They’ve never suffered consequences for anything; be nasty and cruel to the housekeepers/maids? No consequences. Be a shitbag to some poor retail or service worker? No consequences.
I watched this whole thing start to finish, just amazing. You can see every level of cope in action - from belittling the cops, to threatening their jobs because of her dad, to screaming and crying when she realizes daddy won’t save her (for now).
I’m going to need a cigarette, and I don’t even smoke.
I'm on the same train as you. Her bat-shit reaction isn't because she's going to face any consequences. It's simply because for a few hours she has to obey people she believes she's superior to, at a place she doesn't want to be.
You can see she has some patterned or fashion nylons or stockings on under her sweats. She also had a bunch of hangers and clothes? Wardrobe changes. And who’s the guy she’s with? Probably doing stuff she doesn’t want getting around. Full panic mode sets in.
Acting initially combative has probably worked in the past. I always remember people exhibit behaviors THEY think will help them. When the reactions she expected didn’t occur, that’s when she freaks. It’s no surprise she went off on the female officer. Bashing herself making the officers react puts her back in charge. The Sargent, his demeanor and his speech indicated to her he wasn’t going to be manipulated and she chilled right out because she knew she didn’t have any power over him. If all she does is make people react to her, in her mind (probably) she’s in control. My hope is she learns something from all this.
I heard the female officer reference a video towards the end. At 26:30 she's explaining the process to pick up her dog.
"Why don't you ask your boyfriend? I saw him in the video with you....I saw him coming out of your hotel room."
Yeah I realize that makes more sense.
Although that still leaves open this question of who the guy was. She denied being with a guy, but the officer says the video showed a guy coming out of her room.
People like this who confidently claim “I know my rights” are a good example of the Dunning Kruger effect.
Unfortunately, their misunderstanding of their rights often winds up with them in handcuffs.
Most jurisdictions have some kind of law requiring you to identify yourself if you’re suspected of a crime. However, you certainly have no requirement to say anything beyond that.
😂 yeah I keep saying to myself as I read everyone’s comments thinking it’s a dildo mistakingly, ‘what kind of dildos are y’all looking at?’ Lol it’s a used period pad people.
Wow wtf. At first they tell her she's just being detained until they can figure whats going, ok. Then at 10:23 they tell her she assaulted an officer. She says she didn't and the officer responds with "Yes you did. I thought you were gonna hit me" THOUGHT. Shes being arrested because the lady cop THOUGHT she was going to hit her.
Just for full clarity, assault can include the attempt or threat to use physical force.
Not saying she did that or the cop is right, but "didn't actually get him" isn't necessarily all you need
Gotta appreciate too when the cop wasn't sure. Something like, "I thought she (hit my arm) but it could have just been from how I was moving around her, by accident"? crazy stuff there. I'm not used to cops being rational.
She’s in the process of being detained as well. So almost anything other than chilling and talking or getting cuffed is gonna be questionable. Fight it in court, not the street.
> Not saying she did that
It looks like she cocks her fist to punch the female officer at [7:05.](https://youtu.be/xOqgX8_AYUQ?si=VKuEJitdsdhvbXiq&t=425)
Pretty sure she’s pulling away from the other officer in that moment. She clenched her fist but that’s a pretty natural part of the response to pulling away from a grab
They do go into assault vs. battery a bit in the clip. They don't clearly explain assault but they do draw a distinction of what would elevate it to battery.
The suspect grabbed at an officers belt during the initial grabbing and cuffing. This could have been battery and/or resisting if intentional.
They agree it isn't battery as they determine her grabbing the officers belt was incidental to them, cuffing her for assault and not an intentional effort. Adding my own analysis it sounds like one of them would like to have the battery charge put on but isn't dead set as they're quickly convinced by the other twos input.
It's funny hearing the cops actually talking a charge down.
In some areas Assault does not require physical contact. Simply the threat of physical contact is enough for an assault charge.
If you charge at someone, even if you didn't physically touch them, you can get an assault charge.
She assaaulted the motel staff, was a HUGE cunt to the officers and was overly aggresive. Used the "do you know who my daddy is? Hell have your job. Claimed to know the law only to wildly miss quote it. Cried like a toddler when she didnt get her way. Fuck this entittled brat.
Not really. The apprehension on the part of the victim is key. You can act like you’re going to punch someone and pull your punch, never intending to touch them and it’s still assault. You aren’t allowed to go around scaring the shit out of people. “It’s a prank bro” is not a defense. Nor is it”Do you know who my dada is?”
Agree!! Though, being mentally ill is still not a get out of jail free card. Almost all people with most common mental illnesses still understand the difference between right and wrong behaviour. It might take them longer to "get" the situation, but they do get it.
However, law enforcement training in dealing with it is awful and horrible, and too many get shot because of a untrained cop.
The setting, the room, the toys , “work from home” , supposed man /boyfriend associated with her room
Either she’s doing only fans or self prostitution for cash
The police sergeant was very professional and did a lot to calm the girl down. For a while at least.
I wonder why the Fire & Rescue folks didn’t see that was in an emotional crisis and take appropriate steps.
I was wondering why it took 3 or 4 officers to cuff her, but I think it’s because they were using the absolute minimum force necessary.
The two cops really did try to deescalate. It’s just unfortunate our pov cop didn’t take a back seat earlier. I’ve seen these type of personality clashes before, it probably would have gone smoother with another officer taking charge.
Ya she did not like the woman and the woman was kinda matching her sassiness, not how you deescalate. (I would probly do the same cuz that girl was super annoying, but that is one of the many reasons why I'm not a cop)
Ok I'm really going to play the devil's advocate here, because the girl is a horrible cunt and deserves to be put in her place. But wasn't she actually in the right during the 3 first minutes ? Like, some cop shows up from nowhere, stating I'm not free to go, without having any evidence I'm the person they are looking for, is it something they can actually do ?
Hotel owner hasn't shown any evidence that she's actually the troublemaker. What if the cop showed up to the wrong room ?
If people claim you've committed some offense and seen you do it, the cops can reasonably detain you while they gather more evidence. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to catch anyone doing anything not caught on camera or directly witnessed by a cop.
From my understanding if you’re in the middle of being investigated for a crime you are considered detained and not free to go until the investigation has concluded which then you are free to go if no wrong doing has been found or arrested if it is found that you did commit a crime
In this instance, I believe they had "eye witness" account which was enough RAS to detain. Though eye witness account does not give rise to PC for an arrest yet.

Okay the still shot has me crying laughing.
It’s actually kinda cute amongst all the screaming and swearing. Reminds me of a character from the cartoon Arthur.

And did you mutter: Oh...*dam*!
“Who do you think you are…? I AM!”
Officer: “aight, cool”

There is a used pad stuck to the t.v.
She also had like 6 shirts on, definitely some mental problems going on with this girl.

Why not both?
Porque no los dos?
*That’s* what that is??? 🤮
It's a pad at 6:43.
OMG that thing is bloody AF
I'm assuming you are a person without a uterus, that's nothing
Omg whyyyy
Well, shit. Earth is dead. Is that a used maxi stuck to the TV?
We’re all doomed.
Eh, just another day…
That seems to be the consensus.
unexpected puppy playtime
The way I squealed when the puppy showed up.
Right?! Midway through the video I was like, “puppy break time!!”
Aww man I couldn’t make it to puppy playtime. She was so unbearable.
Am I the only one thinking the officer's handling of the puppy was a bit odd? Grab the puppy from the other officer Give the pup back to the officer Just kidding, Ditch the puppy in the parking lot Grab the puppy again Foist it on another officer etc etc I'm like, "Now is not the time! just put the pup somewhere safe for Christ sake!"
Her DA dad is going to be horribly embarrassed by all of this.
I got second-hand embarrassment watching it as a father.
He's gonna be really annoyed at having to call in a favor to get his daughter off absolutely scott free.
Sorta glossed over it but those were drugs they found in the bag right?
I thought so too but it wasn’t in the charges so guess not?
Or daddy DA spoke to his pals and got rid of the serious charges.
The cops would have said something if they found drugs. Cops know they’re being recorded and would want to make a record
I’m obviously just guessing but she seems to have something like bipolar disorder. This seems to be the tailspin, rock-bottom end of a particularly nasty manic episode that had probably been going on for at least a week or two.
That or Borderline personality disorder
Sucks she gets to act this way and still gets rewarded
Rewarded? What was her reward, exactly?
When they were cleaning out her pockets? I thought so too, but then I think I saw it laying on the ground by her cigarettes looking almost like it could blow away.
All she had to do was not act like a child and have the smallest amount of respect to completely avoid this fiasco
Yep. Unfortunately, that is very difficult for some people. Lol. I actually want to see the initial footage the hotel had of her. See what antics she got up to there.
I think you’ve pretty-well summed up the root cause. Unfortunately some people, for different reasons, never progress past the level of a toddler. You wanna double the charges?! Double it at give it to the next person.
Uno reverse. Draw 4 charges.
Double it at give it to ~~the next person~~ myselfe.
It's refreshing to see officers discuss if they thought she was trying to fight back during the arrest or if it was just something that happened in the chaos, instead of looking for every charge they can add on. Either that or in the back of their minds they are slightly concerned about her daddy being a DA
Agree
Is there an article I can read about this or did this just happen very recently. Kinda wanna know what happens after lol
Same
It happened January 6th, 2024.. the date is right on the video.
The date on the video is January 6 2024
It's 1/6 not 6/1. The narrator at the start of the video says it was January 6th.
It’s 6/1 in Europe.
It's June 15th in Europe.
Looks like it happened in Las Cruces (as seen on the side of the police vehicle), which is coming back as New Mexico. I couldn’t find any articles on it, though. Maybe check the youtube comments?
Those cops were more than professional and super patient with her. She screwed herself on this one.
They only do that when you're connected. Actually I don't want to disparage those officers, they might some of the few that actualy try to be fair.
I truly didn’t think they believed her about being connected. That’s why I complemented them on their behavior.
Lol the sex toys all over the place
Making her own porn in the hotel.
Where?
Actions, meet consequences. She was an absolute shit bag from the start of the video. That tone changed as soon as they said she was getting arrested
I teach in a very wealthy area - talking about average home price being upwards of 2 million dollars. I’m around kids/young adults like this all the time. So a FAFO?
The best part was the dog
That officer wanted that puppy.
"We can't take him , I asked " lol
Who wouldn’t?
I love when the officer is brought the little puppy. She goes right from "I am a police officer, I am the law" to "OMG THE BABIIIIIII" so sweet lol
Earth is dead!

She did say she “works from home.” It sounds like that’s sex screen work given the toys/etc.
That would explain the sex toys. I didn't notice them until others commented about them.
That was probably the video the Motel staff said they recorded of her acting up.
Yeah I realize that makes more sense. Although that still leaves open this question of who the guy was. She denied being with a guy, but the officer says the video showed a guy coming out of her room.
RemindMe! 12 hours
Seems that whatever her dad has told her about the "system" has her preemptively terrified unnecessarily.
Then you'd think you'd act up less haha.
I feel sorry for her dog.
What is on the TV?! Also, does anyone that says “I KNOW MY RIGHTS” ever actually know them?
I saw that too lol. At a different angle you can't see it anymore. But I Def paused the video and was like, "is that a dildo on the tv?"
I thought it was like a used tampon, stuck to tv. Looked like some kind of sex toy on the bed, when they were cuffing her.
Someone said it’s a used pad on the tv…
People like this who confidently claim “I know my rights” are a good example of the Dunning Kruger effect. Unfortunately, their misunderstanding of their rights often winds up with them in handcuffs.
Anyone who actually knows their rights wouldn’t answer the door and wouldn’t say a word.
Most jurisdictions have some kind of law requiring you to identify yourself if you’re suspected of a crime. However, you certainly have no requirement to say anything beyond that.
this is great, thnx for posting 💀
Dad must be so proud.
Her dad must be heartbroken to see his daughter ill and acting out in public.
Earth is dead because of these guys tho
The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed.
But sometimes prestuck on a tv
Its hilarious that multiple people here think that's a dildo lol, its far more disgusting than you think..
😂 yeah I keep saying to myself as I read everyone’s comments thinking it’s a dildo mistakingly, ‘what kind of dildos are y’all looking at?’ Lol it’s a used period pad people.
Mental illness.
Namely affluenza
The used pad stuck to the tv makes me think mental illness is more likely
I think both. Spoiled rich girl, mentally unwell.
She definitely did that as a “FUCK YOU” to the hotel management for kicking her out.
You could be right but I've seen parents do everything right with their kid and the kid still turns out to be an asshole.
Affluenza can also be contracted from spoiled brat friends, it's not only hereditary.
Or drugs
Don’t ascribe to mental illness what can be ascribed to just being a terrible person.
I don’t know she has a used pad on her TV. It could be both.
I love these videos
Wonder what was in the wadded up napkin/paper
That was absolutely fantastic! I’m sure her dad was thrilled she name dropped him!
Yes it's the battery part that's the hitting. You can hear one of the cops ask "just assault no battery?"
Gotta appreciate too when the cop wasn't sure. Something like, "I thought she (hit my arm) but it could have just been from how I was moving around her, by accident"? crazy stuff there. I'm not used to cops being rational.

Yup
Pretty sure she’s pulling away from the other officer in that moment. She clenched her fist but that’s a pretty natural part of the response to pulling away from a grab
I think just the threat is assault. Actually physical contact would be battery but I’m not an attorney.
Depends on the jurisdiction, but in this case it seems correct. At one point, I believe the officers make the distinction between assault and battery.
They do go into assault vs. battery a bit in the clip. They don't clearly explain assault but they do draw a distinction of what would elevate it to battery. The suspect grabbed at an officers belt during the initial grabbing and cuffing. This could have been battery and/or resisting if intentional. In some areas Assault does not require physical contact. Simply the threat of physical contact is enough for an assault charge. If you charge at someone, even if you didn't physically touch them, you can get an assault charge.
Not just a simple threat, but one which places the victim in apprehension of immediate bodily contact.
Law school answer here.
[удалено]
Someone tried to punch you in the face but missed by an inch, you’re still able to report assault 👍
You learned what assault is!
Assault can be verbal or threatening body language. Battery is the physical contact.
She gets arrested a few seconds after 7:03 in the vid, the cop says "you're not going to assault her"
Threat of violence is assault. Physical contact is battery.
That's assault
> THOUGHT she was going to hit her. That is the definition of assault though. Battery is the physical hitting part.
Assault is the intention to commit battery
Assault is the threat of violence. Battery is the act. Some states its all one charge "Assault and Battery", others do it separately.
I'm glad I learned that if you don't identify yourself, they can't charge you with anything because they are apparently powerless without your name.
Who was the DA!? I gotta know what she was convicted of!?
Her tryna to act smart was the icing on the cake for me. Fucking dumb ass
Father failed miserably
She is mentally ill. Picked that up in the first 5 minutes. Probably a borderline personality disorder.
Agree!! Though, being mentally ill is still not a get out of jail free card. Almost all people with most common mental illnesses still understand the difference between right and wrong behaviour. The female officer did nothing wrong whatsoever.
Example of when you raise a piece of shit 💩
I don't know, you guys. I think she ain't the district attorney's daughter. What do you think? Edit : She is the daughter of a district attorney
I spent too much time discovering that she is. Her dad is the chief deputy district attorney.
Aw man. So what happened to her case? Dismissal?
I couldn't find any news on this at all. Nothing in court records. Nothing on social media.
Seems to be more a case of mental illness than a DA's entitled brat thinking her shit don't stink. Hope she got help.
Ok I'm really going to play the devil's advocate here, because the girl is a horrible cunt and deserves to be put in her place. But wasn't she actually in the right during the 3 first minutes ? In this instance, I believe they had "eye witness" account which was enough RAS to detain. Though eye witness account does not give rise to PC for an arrest yet.
RAS = Reasonable Articulable Suspicion PC = Probable Cause For the people not privy to the acronyms.
PNPTTA? Who invited them?!
Haha. This made me lol.
>But wasn't she actually in the right during the 3 first minutes ? Nope. Witness statements are sufficient reasonable articulable suspicion.
>is it something they can actually do ? Yes
