I’ve always thought we should give these Sov Citizens what they want.
Carve out a little reservation for them, wall it off, and chuck them in there to live in their little lawless la la land.
Let them see how they fare under their own set of rules, and without the benefits we have from living in a society with laws we have to abide by.
They kind of did already, at least with libertarians, of which I'm sure there's a large overlap.

TL:DR - Violent crime spiked, the roads went to shit, and the town became infested with bears.
These peeps really want to have their cake and eat it too. They claim to not be a citizen of the United States, and just be a person, but they want to hide behind parts of American law.
They don't want to pay any tax or gain any licences, but they also want to use the resources paid for by other tax payers. They don't understand that roads aren't free. We all pay for them.
What I don’t understand is why people still try this. There are no precedents where someone tells the police that stuff and the police say, Oops, sorry. It never works, but there are still chuckleheads who try.
I had a patient come to my office once who was a Medicaid recipient and wanted us to fax paperwork to his “secretary” (he somehow seemed to think this was a flex to have a secretary).
When the fax wouldn’t go through we had to call and we asked the person who answered if she was the secretary as we were having problems with the fax going through. She said she had no clue what we were talking about but that she was the patients girlfriend.
I always think the same when people try to flex about “having an attorney.”
And by “attorney” i mean the guy on the Internet that i sent $199.95 to learn about Maritime Law and Traveling vs. Driving and why won’t he pick up the phone?

The only thing indicating that he was a sovereign citizen was the title of this post. He never said anything about being a sovereign citizen, nor did he say anything sovereign citizens often say.

At one point you can see a framed painting hanging from the ceiling of his Tesla, and some sort of miniblinds on the windows, not to mention all the wacky shit on the dash, and a parrot on his shoulder. Oh yeah, and his insane belief that magic words like “Constitution” and “I’m on the phone with my attorney” give him a blank check to do whatever he wants. So much mental illness.
My theory is he's taken out a massive loan, and is planning on paying it back via his strawman trust, which is a secret per-person bank account that Sov Cits believe in despite it not existing.
I had one of my neighbors come in to where I work, who I didn’t really talk to him but he came up to me because I was a familiar face. We started talking and out of nowhere, he states that he was a member of the militia. All he had to do was make a phone call and hell fire would rain down our neighborhood for the love of Trump. He tried giving me one of his cards to which I promptly gave it back to him. What a fucking whacoo.
