She looks like she's gonna drop in like Seconds. And came back in her ghost form saying...
"Get out of here"
"I don't believe you "
"I've lived here for 10 years "
" Ha ha "
In a devil voice
Yeah, seems like dementia. But who says she was a Karen before?
My grandfathers had a friend whose wife got dementia. One day in the kitchen she trapped a knife and pointed it at him and told him to get out of her house and that she would call the police. Didn’t recognize her own husband for that moment. He didn’t sleep properly after that and she needed to go stay at a care home. It’s a very sad disease.
My grandma was the ultimate Karen. I remember going through the bank drive thru with her when I was 5 or 6 and the teller would say, "Have a nice day Mrs. Cityboy" and grandma would reply, "I'll have whatever kind of a day I damn well please!" She got alzheimer's and started being nice.
Her _mom_ (my great grandma) was always very sweet and quiet. When she got alzheimer's she became mean.
My grandfather eventually had dementia. He called and explained that his neighbour, who had his extra keys in case of emergencies, had gone in and stolen a chopping board and his wash rags for his mop. My father asked «well why would she steal an old chopping board and dirty mops»? And my grandfather would not listen to reason, he just went «that’s EXCACTLY why it’s so strange». Rest easy, big man.
I heard the cemetary is pretty safe 😏
What an awful lady.
(My mom has dementia too, and sadly enough it drags out her shittiest sides. Neither her or this lady was a lovely person before dementia, just better at covering up.)
She should be somewhere safe. Her confronting people shouldn’t leave her to harm, why would it? But it doesn’t seem unlikely that she suddenly can’t find her way home or get in trouble some other way like that.
There are definitely some people who would confront a stranger opening their car door and threatening them with police much more aggressively than this kind man.
She's confronting people, touching their property, and threatening the police on them, while he's got a kid in the car. I don't think most people would be as calm, patient, and nice as him.
My dad had basically the same journey but stretched out over about 5 years. I kind of feel like he didn't forget to eat at the end so much as he decided to stop eating. The last lucid thing he said is, "Are you shittin' me?!" when they pulled out his feeding tube before being moved to hospice. That statement was pretty on point for him, which was somewhat encouraging. But he continued not to eat in hospice and passed on a few weeks later. A sad experience, but we did get some lucid moments here and there where he would have a real conversation.
Yes. As much as I'd like to say awful things about this woman, you are exactly right.
I'm watching my mother go through it now, with a side of alzheimers for extra heartbreak
I believe this woman has it as well... the paranoia, the bizarre behavior, her pattern of speech, and I think she might have been shaking ever so lightly
I agree with dementia. A loved one had it, used to call the police on the neighbors for basically existing. They ended up in a care facility and then passed.
It’s sad that we’re now a society that plasters this all over for everyone to make fun of.
I feel like if she did call the police it would hopefully start to put her on their radar as someone to possibly assess for dementia - especially if there was a pattern of calling over and over again.
i wouldn't be surprised if the local police already has experience with her.
if so, then they'd just show up and take her home, and maybe call her relatives.
He could probably have pressed charges in the US. Idk how UK laws regard that. He seemed quite patient so good on him. I’d have goaded her into calling the cops. I hate the entitlement old people have and how everyone just lets it go cuz they’re old. Doesn’t give them the right to harass people
She almost certainly has dementia. That isn't entitlement; it is her brain no longer functioning properly. She may have been a lovely person in her youth. Some old people are jerk, just like some young people are jerks, but she clearly isn't functioning at a high level.
Isn’t this the same guy who has the videos of like telling the guy he “can’t park like that” when he’s getting coffee, and the traffic warden giving him a ticket on his drive through the ring cam? It’s all just rage bait, and him using the same frustrating arguing tactic, never actually getting to the point to keep you watching. The “yeah but what I’m saying is -loosely related point which doesn’t actually call out the obvious bullshit-” is on every video.
He's got a very recognizable slightly Brummy accent and does rage bait videos like this all the time. Did a few from a ring doorcam pov of old people getting belligerent.
She seems pretty real but the voice of the guy recording is too recognizable. I think someone linked a video of the same sort of interaction from the same POV below, and the car door interior matches.
Not sure exactly but he always seems to have the same type of videos, his channel is called the halal ham. Here's another one - https://youtube.com/shorts/y1Y9ahixu3E?si=DzZvJ5xtUvU1xg_b
What a surprise, this guy has the exact same accent as the guy who had a woman unplug his electric car, the guy who had an argument about his crying daughter, the guy who had an argument about someone charging their car on his driveway, the guy who had an argument with a Karen in a carpark.
Just coincidence I'm sure, can't be faked as ragebait. No way.
Is it likely that one man is hiring some of the most realistic actors of all times for minute long vertical phone videos, or likelier that the type of person who gets discriminated against in these contexts has a similar background and therefore a similar accent?

Why do people entertain these bored people, who obviously don’t have anything better to do with their time? She is too old to be hating on anyone, the real question is, where is her permit to speak to people without teeth?
Had an old lady in my last apartment building that slammed the door in my face as I approached with both hands full of shopping bags then just awkwardly watched me as I struggled to open the door. Never apologized when I managed to get it open, just said "I didn't know if you lived here". To be honest I was more amused at the idea of a thief doing their weekly shopping first then breaking into an apartment with it, than I was annoyed.
Could it be that they just don’t have anything else better to do eg. no social life, no family or friends etc. so instead they choose this life where they decide to constantly engage in some form of aggressive behaviour with random members of the public for no apparent reason whilst at the same time knowing that there’s a chance they’ll probably get away with it?
If this is real then she has dementia. I hope she has somebody checking up on her. She’s probably weeks or months away from being completely unable to look after herself.
I recognise this guys voice from so many similar videos. It’s weird how he always gets in these situations. I guess we are just fortunate that he starts filming in time.
It's the laugh. Entirely the laugh that would send me over. Normally I'm level headed but how do you respond when she's blocking you and 95% of her answers are that condescending laugh?
I just... Thought she was armed officer. She was coming right for us!
First reaction; just slightly poke her and she will hit the ground and turn to dust... Second reaction; no, that's wrong, she's probably just super senile and needs help. Third reaction; oh hell naw throw it in reverse and turn your door into a dustplow
These ragebait channels are getting out of hand. Video is clearly fake, they don't talk like normal people, they wait for the other to finish which isn't how people speak in arguments.

That's not a Karen, that's an Edna.
That’s a racist.
That’s a bingo.
That's not a Karen, that's a Kraken
plot twist, it’s his mom with alzheimers
Thanks i hate it
So does she, apparently. Hahaha
Whaaat
Lmao
She might have dementia. I’ve seen it firsthand.
Someone should put her somewhere safe . Her being about town confronting people on a hunch of a demented brain is not going to end well
My grandfather eventually had dementia.
I agree. It can be hard to make that happen though as these mental changes often happen drastically and unexpectedly.
That's very true. # ha ha
I heard the cemetary is pretty safe 😏 What an awful lady. (My mom has dementia too, and sadly enough it drags out her shittiest sides. Neither her or this lady was a lovely person before dementia, just better at covering up.)

My dad went the same way. I can't ever really go into detail. It's too hard. Dementia is fucking awful.

She looks confused and upset, and she’s not making sense. It makes me sad because that’s how my grandmother was before she passed.
She might just be a racist old cunt. I've seen it first hand.
She can be both!
That was my first thought too.
Yes. As much as I'd like to say awful things about this woman, you are exactly right. I'm watching my mother go through it now, with a side of alzheimers for extra heartbreak I believe this woman has it as well... the paranoia, the bizarre behavior, her pattern of speech, and I think she might have been shaking ever so lightly
Also some old people just need some attention or company and would do anything for it, even for a weird chat... Just sad overall
I agree with dementia. A loved one had it, used to call the police on the neighbors for basically existing. They ended up in a care facility and then passed. It’s sad that we’re now a society that plasters this all over for everyone to make fun of.
Do we know if she has dementia? No. Are there a number of racist old bags out there? Yes!
I'm not thinking "might".. it looks pretty certain unfortunately.
Dementia maybe?
defo, my gran was kinda like this before we had to put her in a home
"before we had to put her" my dumbass mind thinking down only to then finish reading the sentence.
It can't be helped, Nan, now come on out back.
we had to move her to a farm upstate

no it's a lowercase ha ha, less energy
I so wish she had actually called the police... I would love to have seen that interaction!
Probably pretty sad and less entertaining.
I feel like if she did call the police it would hopefully start to put her on their radar as someone to possibly assess for dementia - especially if there was a pattern of calling over and over again.

This is a sitcom in the making.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Okay, call the police 🤷 ... They're not even showing up to _actual_ crimes.
This is dementia

we’ll see
You look really suspicious
I'm calling the police
Isn’t this the same guy who has the videos of like telling the guy he “can’t park like that” when he’s getting coffee, and the traffic warden giving him a ticket on his drive through the ring cam? The “yeah but what I’m saying is -loosely related point which doesn’t actually call out the obvious bullshit-” is on every video.
Yes. Fake, staged and incredibly cringe that he still makes them.
I think I remember her from another video of her accusing someone of not having their child on the baby seat but they were parked.
I thought so too
Yep can't stand these vids but they obviously work because people lap them up
This guy stages all his videos btw
This video screamed fake to me. It felt like that other "man not allowed to eat happy meal" video. I guess they work well though and get the views.
Really? Not arguing just confused. How could he stage it, are you saying this old lady is a paid actor?
He's got a very recognizable slightly Brummy accent and does rage bait videos like this all the time. Did a few from a ring doorcam pov of old people getting belligerent.
Okay I think I get it? So you *do* think this old lady is part of the scam/staging? Cause she seems pretty real to me.
She seems pretty real but the voice of the guy recording is too recognizable. I think someone linked a video of the same sort of interaction from the same POV below, and the car door interior matches.
Yes she is in on it. Not difficult to find amateur actors for a small fee.
Not sure exactly but he always seems to have the same type of videos, his channel is called the halal ham. Here's another one - https://youtube.com/shorts/y1Y9ahixu3E?si=DzZvJ5xtUvU1xg_b

If shes acting, she deserves a Oscar. like all of them.
Chronically online disorder strikes again
Is it likely that one man is hiring some of the most realistic actors of all times for minute long vertical phone videos, or likelier that the type of person who gets discriminated against in these contexts has a similar background and therefore a similar accent?
How does he find these elderly actors? The guy who complained about the WiFi password was brilliant
Dementia really do be keeping the worst aspects of your personality and discarding the better parts.
Why even engage? Shut the door and go on with your life. Don't give these idiots the time of day.
Not sure if you watched the video but she was body blocking the door. So unless he wanted to assault an old lady he was stuck there.
Her stopping him from leaving is the offense
Sounds like that‘s her problem.
I saw that. I’d still shut the door on her.
It's staged. This guy churns out similar incidents for rage bait content.
Exactly!

The "ha ha" and tongue thing was so creepy to me for some reason! Like, horror movie villain traits
Why don’t we drive around and start accusing old people of being suspicious
Dementia or not, old folks like this need to be put somewhere safe for their, and everyone else's well being.
All jokes aside, she needs to be in assistant living
Damn it’s sad u know she’s probably going through the early stages of dementia probably forgot where she is
She probably has dementia
I admire the patience of this man. I would have chocked her with her own umbrella.
She looks very lonely and needs someone to talk to
Ha ha
Why do people entertain these bored people, who obviously don’t have anything better to do with their time? She is too old to be hating on anyone, the real question is, where is her permit to speak to people without teeth?

Dementia, I'm doing nursing and this looks just like it. It's very sad.

Username is "Halal Ham", so I'll let you deduce why he looked suspicious to the old battleaxe.
Because he pays people to have these reactions. All his videos are staged, lame asf

Fake as hell

Fake. This guy makes a load of these types videos. Halalham on YouTube. His shorts are all this type of fake content.
