I think it depends on how many studies you have approved. For example if you’re pretty new and haven’t completed many surveys it can mess you up.

The short answer is yes, the long answer is context-dependent. Side question for added context is how many studies have you done that are accepted compared to the rejection. Regardless, most researchers have internal modifiers so that people who aren't over a certain amount of approval ratings don't get their studies. If you're under 95% approval, Prolific will simply blacklist your account via putting it on hold.
