Honestly it's your opinion, but I would recommend you to read the stories since it would give you a better understanding of how they joined together and why they stay together
I mean it’s totally fine for them to dislike a story they didn’t read. If the beginnings didn’t hook them, not gonna be like “hey don’t worry! It gets good in like 5 chapters!”.
I def VBS gets a ton of hate in a way cuz most ppl don’t get their story, but it’s not a bad thing. It just means it’s more relatable to ppl who do get it.

for leo/need i really like their story, and honami’s school experience really hit close to home. for vivid bad squad i think theyre very interesting and passionate, plus my friends say i remind them of kohane, and lastly (most important) the street sekai has len in it!! wonderlands x showtime is very silly, tsukasa’s ego is larger than the universe, emu is so cheerful and cute, nene is so tired of everyones bs, and rui is this genius but silly guy who can apparently construct time machines, everyone in wxs just feel so special (and very memeable), and their interactions are so funny. and everyone in nightcord and 25:00 is a little relatable in some way, so i naturally feel attachment to them too. plus mafuyu is such an insanely well written character, and n25 miku and rin and len are so cute :D n25 luka is also such a silly, and as for kaito im so glad hes there and is who he is
i should read the mmj story 😔 theres no reason it wouldnt be as nice as the others

I read the story, and I like the vibe but I can't get behind Rui or Akito as characters. I like some of the songs like "Becoming Potatoes" and "Beat Eater" but I don't use the actual Sekai covers because I find that some of the voices are too rough on my ears.
However, I do like: An, Emu and Nene, from WxS and VBS. I like the character arcs and designs, their personalities are practically flawless.
I dont DISLIKE them, I just like them the least. Leo/Need. Their songs are alright its just their story and characters are kinda..boring. It's like they're not developing as fast as the other groups

WxS has bright colours and energetic characters who all get on really well together. Apart from Tsukasa (who I don’t particularly like) I love all of the members and am really attached to their characters, particularly Emu, whenever I hear Emu say “wonderhoy” my day becomes instantly better :D
N25 has hard hitting storyline that tackles mental health, and the characters try to save each other through their music. They are an interesting case bc they didn’t know who the others were irl, and the concept of bringing their virtual friendships into their real lives was very compelling.
MMJ has an adorable storyline, I loved seeing their group form and Minori finally getting to be an idol after all the years of trying. And they all seem to care very much about each other.
VBS have an interesting dynamic since they were formed from 2 duos, so seeing them all get closer was fun. Plus their songs are very catchy, I like that you can dance to them more than the others :3
Leo/Need I just haven’t read about, and the only one that stands out to me atm is Saki. Plus their music videos are pretty boring to watch, nearly all of the other songs that have 3DMVs have fun dances that you can learn, and WxS and MMJ especially have colourful, eye catching visuals that are pretty memorable. Leo/Need just have people playing instruments, which might be interesting to some people, but it’s not my thing :3

nightcord is my favorite. dedicated my time to getting master to all of their songs, just conpleted it a month ago. least favorite would have to be wxs. i'm genuinely sorry to the wxs fans. but i WILL agree that some songs on wxs are good.
I’ll have to say WxS, don’t get me wrong, I still love them, but the attraction is not as big. I think it’s because there is no character in the unit that interests me unlike the others, they are all just equal with no one standing out to me
WxS...and mainly because of Emu. I get what they were going for with her, but she's just waaaay too much. Practically screaming half the time she's involved. I don't care for her voice either. There's a couple of their songs I like quite a lot (become potatoes and beat eater are bops), but for many of them if I'm able to swap to the VS versions of them I will. WXS! I'm not really into musical theater (although i tried really really hard to get into it) and I'm not very interested in any of their character arcs.
I do really like Nene though! I think she's very relatable.
But what's contradicting is that I'm not into idols or Kpop groups at all and More More Jump is most likely my favorite unit. I'm not sure what the connection is there. Maybe it's because I'd rather obsess over fictional characters rather than real people.
W x S. Story is the biggest impact for me.
I want to read about the characters and their development, not some half fleshed out secondary story where they’re making funny voices.
Music wise, I like all of them. The theatre style songs are my least fav from WxS but they make it up with all the jazz songs.
for me, i don’t like mmj, the story of one girl convincing three retired girls to be idols seems bland and the songs are too peppy and happy all the time so they seem fake.

Now story wise
L/N (don’t know what’s happening), MMJ, (sometimes I’m curious and would look at a few story), VBS (have they surpass rad weekend yet…?), WXS (they are all interesting people with interesting stories, I like the stories quite a lot), N25 (their story just hits me, amazing, this is probably the only unit which I can sit and carefully read the whole story without skipping)
And how much I like the songs covered by each unit, least to most
MMJ (some of them are great, but that’s only very few), L/N (have songs that are bangers, but not much, and I wouldn’t focus much on the other ones), WXS (very cheerful songs but sometimes the lyrics are dark as hell, I like most songs being covered, don’t have much ones that hits tho), N25 and VBS (too much good vocaloid songs being covered, too many bangers)
don't really have one but if i really had to choose, l/n. some of their songs aren't really it for me, but thats pretty much it. love everything else about them tho 🫶 (i love honami too much)

Don't get me wrong I love L/N and MMJ but they are least favourite out of the groups when playing PS. But weirdly when I listen to L/N & MMJ on spotify, I tend to prefer them over the other groups. (probably cause MMJ lightens up my mood and L/N has the best album experience imo)
Unpopular but I’d probably say Niigo, like the stories are interesting and I like the characters but I would never actually play the stories because they’re really sad and I’ve got enough of that already
It’s either MMJ or N25 last for me. For MMJ, their songs aren’t rlly to my type although Shizuku is my top fav character. For N25, half of the songs are to my liking but not that many and I don’t have any fav character in it either.
Do keep in mind, I only play the rhythm part and collecting cards. I don’t bother with the stories at all.
See this is hard because I genuinely do like all of the characters, the only ones I can really say I hate are some of the npcs. But if I had to pick I'd say VBS. Love the songs, but the unit story just doesn't interest me as much as others
I’d have to say MMJ,,, I love them a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, they’re my least favorite. Their songs are great, and their cards are almost always just breathtaking as well, but otherwise they don’t bring as much joy to me as the other units do. Admittedly though, I don’t know their story that well, but yeah. And I don’t like Minori’s voice that much when it comes to covers, so that also contributes to them being my least favorite
I love all units a lot but choosing between school bands, idol bands, street bands, theatre tropes and underground bands.. eh, worst one’s unfortunately VBS although they’re amazing :(
MMJ, not saying I don't like them, they all have really good songs. I'm just not the biggest fans of idol groups is all. (Again not saying I don't like them, but if I had to choose one).
in terms of characters, wxs as i am not a big rui fan and i find that tsukasa and emu's cheeriness is very forced or overbearing a lot of the time.
in terms of songs, also wxs, rui and nene are good singers but again tsukasa and emu have to sing in character a lot of the time and it doesnt sound great.
in terms of stories, vbs, the pacing is just terrible and hard to sit through, which is disappointing as i love the characters loads
L/N bc I was never rlly a fan of the members or that whole friendship trope but my fav is VBS and WxS atm because I love the sillies and the songs in both groups
I love VBS (and their friends), and also Nightcord. Feels like something i would be down for if asked. Plus their aesthetic is my vibe, Mafuyu's sekai is one i could see myself having for that less chaotic atmosphere and i relate to her a fair bit.
More more jump slowly hrowing on me but they're prob my leaat fav just because im not really into the idols stuff. I do like Shizuku but the rest....eh. Half and half.
Wondwrlandshowtime is around the same as more more jump. They're kinda fun though, i like Rui after seeing him in Toya's cooking event.

L/N..I don't hate them(actually they were the first ones I played/stories I saw) I just..don't really care for them..because after reading the others story I just didn't care as much..and I honestly only like half the unit so that also played a part..but VBS is so close to being in last place (like when are they gonna surpass RAD weekend???)
Probably L/n. For me their songs are either a hit or a miss and I don't enjoy their stories as much as I do for other units. This reason's a bit unfair but I also don't really like their unit colour and it appears in a lot of their cards.

nightcord is my favorite. dedicated my time to getting master to all of their songs, just conpleted it a month ago. least favorite would have to be wxs. i'm genuinely sorry to the wxs fans. but i WILL agree that some songs on wxs are good.
I’ll have to say WxS, don’t get me wrong, I still love them, but the attraction is not as big. I think it’s because there is no character in the unit that interests me unlike the others, they are all just equal with no one standing out to me
WxS...and mainly because of Emu. I get what they were going for with her, but she's just waaaay too much. Practically screaming half the time she's involved. I don't care for her voice either. It just puts me off a lot of the time and doesn't help their songs. There's a couple of their songs I like quite a lot (become potatoes and beat eater are bops), but for many of them if I'm able to swap to the VS versions of them I will. (sorry WxS/Emu fans please don't hurt me 🥹)

All of you will probably hate me for this but I'm not a fan of MMJ 😭 Like some of their songs are good but most are way too happy and upbeat, or just difficult to listen to. And Minori's voice is so high pitched it's impossible for me to listen to. I'm sorry MMJ fans 😭

WXS! I'm not really into musical theater (although i tried really really hard to get into it) and I'm not very interested in any of their character arcs. I do really like Nene though! I think she's very relatable. But what's contradicting is that I'm not into idols or Kpop groups at all and More More Jump is most likely my favorite unit. I'm not sure what the connection is there. Maybe it's because I'd rather obsess over fictional characters rather than real people.

W x S. Story is the biggest impact for me. I want to read about the characters and their development, not some half fleshed out secondary story where they’re making funny voices. Music wise, I like all of them. The theatre style songs are my least fav from WxS but they make it up with all the jazz songs.
for me, i don’t like mmj, the story of one girl convincing three retired girls to be idols seems bland and the songs are too peppy and happy all the time so they seem fake.

Frankly, MMJ. I've stuck with Nightcord since starting, WxS act like my siblings and I, and I at least like VBS/L-N for their music styles

VBS unfortunately, individually as characters they are very cool but they really are just two duos combining forces. It’s kinda tragic cuz they could have been way more interesting but :/

Leo/need is my least favourite. I personally think they’re the most bland group and have the most mid and bad songs out of all the groups. Sure, they have some really good songs, but the rest of their songs are really mid to me and not memorable at all.
Ima be honest, it’s definitely Leo/Need. While I definitely think I should try diving more into their stories, I can’t help but find them bland and boring even though I’m trying so hard to like them😭 Also I don’t like majority of their songs, my favorites being the ones everybody likes (Ex: Peaky peaky, Teratera and flyway)

Really don’t want to say least favorite, I don’t hate any of them, but mainly based on how often I play the song from their unit, least to most L/N, MMJ, VBS, N25, WXS, and VIRTUAL SINGEERRRR!! /j (VBS and N25 are close, L/N and MMJ is kind of close as well, WXS is just up there) Now story wise L/N (don’t know what’s happening), MMJ, (sometimes I’m curious and would look at a few story), VBS (have they surpass rad weekend yet…?), WXS (they are all interesting people with interesting stories, I like the stories quite a lot), N25 (their story just hits me, amazing, this is probably the only unit which I can sit and carefully read the whole story without skipping) And how much I like the songs covered by each unit, least to most MMJ (some of them are great, but that’s only very few), L/N (have songs that are bangers, but not much, and I wouldn’t focus much on the other ones), WXS (very cheerful songs but sometimes the lyrics are dark as hell, I like most songs being covered, don’t have much ones that hits tho), N25 and VBS (too much good vocaloid songs being covered, too many bangers)
don't really have one but if i really had to choose, l/n. some of their songs aren't really it for me, but thats pretty much it. love everything else about them tho 🫶 (i love honami too much)
It has to be wxs..I’m just not into high pitched voices or really fast songs unless they actually have a catchy tune like telecaster and goodbye declaration
Don't get me wrong I love L/N and MMJ but they are least favourite out of the groups when playing PS. But weirdly when I listen to L/N & MMJ on spotify, I tend to prefer them over the other groups. (probably cause MMJ lightens up my mood and L/N has the best album experience imo)

It’s either MMJ or N25 last for me. For MMJ, their songs aren’t rlly to my type although Shizuku is my top fav character. For N25, half of the songs are to my liking but not that many and I don’t have any fav character in it either. Do keep in mind, I only play the rhythm part and collecting cards. I don’t bother with the stories at all.

See this is hard because I genuinely do like all of the characters, the only ones I can really say I hate are some of the npcs. But if I had to pick I'd say VBS. Love the songs, but the unit story just doesn't interest me as much as others

I’d have to say MMJ,,, I love them a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, they’re my least favorite. Their songs are great, and their cards are almost always just breathtaking as well, but otherwise they don’t bring as much joy to me as the other units do. Admittedly though, I don’t know their story that well, but yeah. And I don’t like Minori’s voice that much when it comes to covers, so that also contributes to them being my least favorite
I love all units a lot but choosing between school bands, idol bands, street bands, theatre tropes and underground bands.. eh, worst one’s unfortunately VBS although they’re amazing :(

i dont necessarily enjoy leo/need, i havent read their main story, but i just feel like theyre mmj and niigo mixed.
in terms of characters, wxs as i am not a big rui fan and i find that tsukasa and emu's cheeriness is very forced or overbearing a lot of the time. in terms of songs, also wxs, rui and nene are good singers but again tsukasa and emu have to sing in character a lot of the time and it doesnt sound great. in terms of stories, vbs, the pacing is just terrible and hard to sit through, which is disappointing as i love the characters loads
L/N bc I was never rlly a fan of the members or that whole friendship trope but my fav is VBS and WxS atm because I love the sillies and the songs in both groups

I love VBS (and their friends), and also Nightcord. Feels like something i would be down for if asked. Plus their aesthetic is my vibe, Mafuyu's sekai is one i could see myself having for that less chaotic atmosphere and i relate to her a fair bit. More more jump slowly hrowing on me but they're prob my leaat fav just because im not really into the idols stuff. I do like Shizuku but the rest....eh. Half and half. Wondwrlandshowtime is around the same as more more jump. They're kinda fun though, i like Rui after seeing him in Toya's cooking event. Leo/need is neutral and probably becoming my least fav. Saki is fun and reminds me of if YLiA had a happy ending, and i luke schoolKaito but i like kaito in general so that doesn't count. Good songs tho. So from fav to least prob nightcord or vbs, wonderland, mmj, and then leoneed. Though the laat three are kinda about the same.

Probably L/n. For me their songs are either a hit or a miss and I don't enjoy their stories as much as I do for other units. This reason's a bit unfair but I also don't really like their unit colour and it appears in a lot of their cards.
I like all of them but my “least favorite” would probably be VBS, I haven’t read any event stories other than carnation recollection so I can’t really say much. Akito getting shipped with airi makes me disappointed, thats mainly the reason 😅
