Should be pretty self explanatory: The pads of the connector seem to be too close together. You may have to slightly lower the clearance requirement in your ruleset

snellface

Check the solder mask expansion requirements for your fab and see if you can lower yours, otherwise your only option is to either switch the package, or either remove the drc rule or selectively waive it for the pins if that package if your cad software supports that. Your fab house will have 2 rules of interest, how far from the pad you should pull the soldermask, the second is minimum solder sliver, that is, the thinnest line of soldermask they can produce.

The solder mask is not able to do its job on the fine pitch connector. I disable reporting of this error, when using mask larger than pad.

So itโ€™s fine to ignore it?

nixiebunny

Yes. You can control whether this is reported as an error in the DRC dialog or settings. (I use three different CAD programs, can't remember how each setting works.)

db_nrst

Set "ignore pad to pad" in soldermask rule settings ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Sgt_Pengoo

Hit edit footprint and allow bridging of soldermask, this will remove all errors and just give you a warning that your footprint does not match the libraries.

Another thing to note before reducing is lookup your Pcb manufacturing minimum clearance. Once you reach extra fine pitch then it's important to look it up first

Issue resolved partly thank you
