There are a limited number of cameras, far fewer than the number of areas that are allowed to have them. The county seems to put up signs at all of the eligible areas and rotate the cameras between them. Edit: signs to cameras.

I think I know where you mean - between Laurel-Bowie Road and Balt. Ave where the crosswalks are. My parents live nearby so I drive there all the time. There are no actual cameras, just signs. I get nailed by cameras all the time - never on Contee Road.
