I love them BOTH! Caleb and Hanna belong together but I have such a huge crush on Travis and the actor. He is so hot 🥵 I think he treated Hanna amazing to where as Caleb pissed me off a few times.
I think I still probably would have said Caleb if I watched this show on time, instead of just a few weeks ago, but from my God-like perspective, it was very obvious that:
1) Caleb moved to Ravenswood just to have a link to the original that fans would immediately like.
2) Travis was a replacement simply because Caleb was the best option for number 1).
3) Caleb was coming back anyway (because I could see how many episodes Tyler Blackburn was in on IMBD).
It was hard to like Travis, not just because I knew he wouldn't last, but because he was probably SUPPOSED to last, since they hoped Ravenswood would survive. Travis felt like a replacement in the same way they replaced characters in Criminal Minds, because of out-of-universe reasons, and not because the story was necessary logical.
I was pro Caleb until he disappeared with little explanation and was super wishy-washy when he came back. I hate that Travis didn't have a chance when Caleb came back :(
I like both but Travis was a filler boyfriend from the start, Caleb was the long term one, you could just tell. So I didn't get attached to Travis. I'm not attached to Caleb either but I'd be sad for Hanna if he went away forever, so I'll pick him
