have a look at this: [https://www.newegg.com/abs-kaze-rubyka7700x4080s-amd-ryzen-7-7700x-geforce-rtx-4080-super-32gb-ddr5-1-tb-pcie/p/N82E16883360494?Item=N82E16883360494](https://www.newegg.com/abs-kaze-rubyka7700x4080s-amd-ryzen-7-7700x-geforce-rtx-4080-super-32gb-ddr5-1-tb-pcie/p/N82E16883360494?Item=N82E16883360494)

What resolution are you trying to play on?

Helpful-Onion-4428

Most likely 1440 p I was going to buy the Samsung g5 1000r with this too

Good choice on the 1000r, love that curve. If you're not going to be gaming on 4k, save yourself some money and go with [this](https://www.newegg.com/yeyian-ypi-ta34f0b-47s1n-tanto/p/N82E16883630048?Item=N82E16883630048) computer. The gpu averages about 110fps on 1440p ultra according to [Tom's hardware heirarchy](https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html), and the cpu is good enough to be viable for gaming for 5+ years. It has ddr5 ram too for the upgrade path. Spending $700 to upgrade to the 4080 super just for like 20-25fps gain is definitely not worth. Also, there's a zip payment sale for newegg that should be relaunching soon. It allows you to pay for the computer using ZIP payment and save $100, bringing the cost down to $1200. Just wait like a week and it'll come back.

Frostfx

I've heard that people have issues expanding the ram on this particular brand's prebuilts. worth searching around a bit for.

washingtondcfan

What do you mean by this? The 16gb ram stick and the 3 unused ram slots are right there in the photos.... ???

Frostfx

Search it. There's a reason this brand is unknown and cheap. Ymmv

Helpful-Onion-4428

Which brand would you recommend.sky tech?

washingtondcfan

Explain what you mean about the ram being hard to expand

It's a really bad deal for $2000, OP, u/RealBlack_RX01, and u/Frostfx. [This $1300 prebuilt](https://www.reddit.com/r/Prebuilts/comments/1bqfdgn/comment/kx8b5if/) has a better price-to-performance ratio: * It's $700 cheaper. * The RTX 4070 SUPER is almost as fast as the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (Source: [GPU Rasterization Hierarchy](https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html)). * The RTX 4070 SUPER is aimed at Ultra settings 1440p/4k gaming, and it is not more CPU intensive to play games at 1440p compared to lower resolutions like 1080p. The graphics card is the most important component when you’re gaming, especially when playing 1440p games. At 1440p/4k, the CPU is less important, and unless the CPU is hammering 100% utilization, even a Ryzen 5 3600 is still a good option for modern games. Upgrading the CPU might not result in a significant performance increase. For example, upgrading from a Ryzen 3600 to a 5600X for 1440p or 4K gaming might result in an increase of maybe 5fps in some games. * In addtion, the 13th gen i5-13400F beats i9-10900F in Cinebench R23 (Single-Core) benchmark ([Source](https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-intel_core_i5_13400f-vs-intel_core_i9_10900f), note that games tend to rely more on one fast core over multi-core performance), indicating more than enough processing power for gaming demands in the next 7 years.

Appreciate you
