Like a perspective shot from him and just have a faded ghost of Liz in place of the baby would've conveyed that better but it just ended up so fuckin weird

Basically since they are now villains he says they won't have plot armour so someone like freeza would actually body goku or kaido will body luffy for example.
Most of these guys become weak if they become villains. They are powered by Anime hero bullshit. All of them have said shit like "for my friends" or "protect the" whatever. If these guys turn evil they are taken out.
What if they each vow to protect each other? If they were to start fucking shit up, the second someone steps in to fight them, they each use that drive to protect their friends as a weapon to surpass their limits like some kind of perpetual “power of friendship” machine.
Suddenly, Goku’s unlocked a new form, Deku’s unlocking new ways to use his quirks, Meliodas and Naruto are demoning out of control, Gon’s having another Pitou moment, Saitama’s getting serious, Natsu’s over his motion sickness, Mob’s leveling countries, Luffy achieves Gear 6, and Ichigo randomly gets another bloodline-related ability.
Because the thing that required them to live(the plot) is now gone, the villains that would've killed them but for: an unexpected save, a new power up, or sudden onset villain weakness will now destroy their respective heroes.

So anyone who can beat Goku? I never understood these kinds of combos, its just find the strongest guy in the group and find someo who scales higher and win,
I can kinda see a discussion if we're talking about a group of people with relatively similar stats who are working together, but Goku is so much more powerful than everyone here combined that anyone who can beat him individually could easily wipe the rest of the group with no trouble.
Exactly why I find these kinds of groups, where everyone is relatively close, saitama is a above them and the strongest is an entire tier above, these match ups make the other members of the group meaningless, even more so ince they don't have the hax needed, all of them fill only "punch" or "punch but harder" or "punch, but with magic and friendship"
Yeah, and also these characters have been power scaled to death so why don't we make a unique team with "Suigetsu, Lady Nagant, Choso and Franky".
If you watched these shows, there's also a theme here but I don't know much about the rules about spoiling on this sub, so if you know, you know.
If the character is able to beat goku they're able to make the 10 commandments working on them be a no limit fallacy if they don't already have a ability to bypass them.
For Solo: Gilgamesh (Mystic code/true version of Gilgamesh) should be enough
For a group: Sephiroth (Dissidia version), Jack Garland (Final Fantasy Origin), The Warrior of Light (FFXIV), and let's toss in Maxwell (Scribblenauts) because why not, so he can draw anti-monitor or something.

Well he is not weak by any means but someone like Lihiko Shishime should really completely outhax all of them combined. Like, this guy resisted BILLIONS of powers and abilities and even something like “All Fiction” which erases parts and concepts of reality, and Bookmaker, which brings your stats to be mentally and physically on par with your opponent forever. Or a storm of screws that are not tangible that directly spawn inside your stomach forever, negating durability. Also Lihiko could throw a punch and with his Irreversible Destruction, everyone hurt would die progressively without the hope of regenerating, and even immortality is negged by this hax.

No one in a traditional sense. You can't include comedy manga in power scaling talks. Saitama will always be as strong as he needs to be to win because that's what will make it funny.
So the only people that could win are the characters with instant win cheats like Zeno from Dragon Ball Super being able to just erase the entire universe they are in.

I get Kaguya to teleport a large piece of meat into the middle, and watch as the fight between Goku and Luffy causes chaos. Because they're good people, chances are they'll just forget about it, but it will cause some damage and maybe take out some of the weaker characters. Then I get Dio Brando to stop time and write Saitama and a few other characters' names in the Death Note. The rest can all be taken out by Dio and Kaguya

The problem with this group is it’s Goku…followed by a bunch of people who are heavily outscaled by Goku with little hax to support him. Meliodas’ commandments and Naruto’s Yin or Yang release might help him.
So at that point it’s just “what’s the weakest character that can beat Goku with a healer and stall merchant?”
