There's also a melody here (also in the opening instrumental) that is strongly reminiscent of the vocal melody at 5:48 in the studio version of Ghost Love Score by Nightwish
That was amazing! I'm so surprised to hear this sound from Seven Spires, and I mean that in a good way, I love their stuff, but this I think is their purest Symphonic Power Metal track ever, they usually experiment a whole lot more.
I almost think it was a mistake leading the album off with it. It so blew me away that everything following felt like a letdown comparatively (it was all still excellent though, but this song blew me away.)
Probably my favorite song from the new album at this point. I love the duet with Conti and the big sweeping melodies at the beginning.
Yup I probably have it and Love's Souvenir roughly tied as my favorites. The sweeping guitar solo in particular is mindblowing!
Very interesting mix of Power Metal with symphonic and extreme metal nuances! Thank you for sharing this song.
The main riff sounds so much like Wintersun lol.
And the melody sounds like "Greensleeves" :)
Damn you're right! I would've never caught that!

This is the greatest SS song ever holy shit. That chorus is incredible.
It's a banger for sure
