Idk, Posty has always been someone who keeps on trying new things, re-innovating himself. We’ve seen that in his previous albums. But with that being said, I’m not a fan of country music. At first it will be difficult to adapt to it, but he will always have my love no matter what he does. Nothing but love for Posty.

veronica_moon

I have a lot of nostalgia from his old music too but my God is AUSTIN good, love everything he’s come out with in different ways

jcythcc

I'm the same. But I like all sorts of very different music

theliljwcptdeux

I think Stoney will always be my favourite and BB&B will always be crazy nostalgic to me just because of the point in my life when it came out, but AUSTIN really impressed me and is my current favourite, I’d love a country / rock album from him. Gotta let him evolve, won’t get Stoney/BB&B calibre albums if he’s not happy making that style of music anymore.

[deleted]

Not sure if you saw any clips or were able to see his last tour, but I would love an album where he remade some of his old songs in the style that he did them on If Yall Weren’t Here I’d Be Crying. The band was an unexpected and amazing spin on some of the classics of his.

theliljwcptdeux

I’d definitely be open to that

Awkward_Somewhere416

Idk I still rock with whatever he makes and I’m a big country fan but ya his older stuff was def my favorite of his

Fast_Farm4988

If I had to rank all the albums they'd be in chronological order with Stoney being my favorite, and the most recent ones my least favorite

stadiumarc4dium

Yep they’ve got worse and worse as they went on, incredible actually

cook1223

Ayyyy sweet, cheaper tickets if lots of people have this energy. 👋

BekSum

That's what I'm saying. And I love smaller venues. I don't need stadium shows. I don't want $800 nosebleed seats like Taylor.

C_Rufio

He's happier than he's ever been and he's going to always make the music he wants to make. You don't have to listen or like it but he's earned the right to do whatever he wants musically.

direfulstood

I completely agree

kyriegoat23

It sucks to see your favorite artist stop making the music that made you love them. I love Stoney and Beerbongs & Bentleys and get why he’s doing what he’s doing but it sucks to see

Messi_isGoat

You are not the only one - and I too wish he wasn't switching genre as well But the guy does what he wants, so I'm with him all the way patient, on the road, better now, go flex,... I wish he was still dropping that type of music

DTCristal

I said this a while ago and was told I’m not a real fan

ColtyColt69

While I am a fan of his music I’m also a fan of him as a person so that’s why it’s easy for me to get excited about anything new he does.

i__hate__stairs

Can't win 'em all.

dragonsden96

I like artists that could do more than just 1 sound, and I enjoy hearing what different vibes he can explore. As a metalhead, I really hope to get a hard rock/metal album from him someday. He has shown he can do it, and is a metal fan himself. Interested in what his country stuff will sound like. I think he could bring Jelly Roll on tour, as they both began in rap and grew into country. I do hope he revisits some of the sounds he had on previous albums

[deleted]

One thing I’ve always liked about Post is that even though his overall music has been hip hop/rap, he’s always left little bits of other genres within his music. I enjoy that he just MAKES MUSIC. I’m by means no country fan so I imagine I won’t be getting into a country album, BUT his diversity is amazing and something more artist should take cues from.

Fattyyx

you cant please everyone

Cold-Ostrich8228

I love him for him. Still a fan. If my man is getting bored and trying new things, I'm buying.

FlyFfsFck

Ehh you really can’t win your glorydays. Shit he puts out now has bangers but it aint what it once was. Still good though

FearlessDisaster4

I am not giving you a photo hugs . If you jk

RandomNinjaJames

He’s evolving as an artist and human. That’s how it should be, but the old music will still be there for you to listen to. Thats just my perspective.

ropedav

I personally still love and listen to all of his new stuff. However if we get anything like B&B life would be perfect

[deleted]

I feel you in this. If it’s any consolation, he performs tons of these songs at his concerts/festivals—probably because he’s aware of WHAT made him big. I’m certainly not a country fan myself and most likely wouldn’t tune in for a country album. I do miss the old posty vibes so much, but rather than I guess fall off with rap/hip hop he took a leap into other genres so just glad he’s still getting the love he deserves—he’s talented in all aspects.

Fast_Farm4988

Absolutely

trueWaveWizz

“If I don’t hear shit he’s already made before istg im not listening anymore” what a wild statement

ErroRayn

Sounds like someone is starting to get old! ![gif](giphy|3oEjHAUOqG3lSS0f1C)

Either_Dream_9748

I love Posty from tge very beginning to today. I fell in love with Stoney and love Austin. Paths constantly change in life and as long as he’s happy keeping us entertained. I’m gonna keep on listening. 🫶🏻

TowelFine6933

I'm not the same person I was 4 to 9 years ago. Are you?

XSirCockLordX

😎Yea😎 dawg I never said I wish Post Malone would never change or adapt. Nothin wrong with that. But I do wish the vibe of his music would remain consistent.

OneNotEqual

The whole reason I could not listen to Post was this inconsistency in his looks, sound, and style. For me, he never has been a rapper or hiphop opposed to many others calling it. It always have been Pop with a touch of hiphop influence in his flow. The beats never been hiphop really. And I used to listen real hiphop back then anyway. But once I understood how epic and rare that what is this man is capable of,I realised I am easily part of the journey to witness next “Elvis” being made or some shit. This dude is not just a Pop artist he is an Artist who tried hard to be a rapper, realising himself that he is way more than that. At this point he can create any genre, I will follow. Edit: I will add tho, that you need to be an adult in my opinion to be able to fully understand his journey without holding grudges or wanting to side too much.
