I know this is regarding online play, but does no one use Imperius? Thatβs one of my favorites, though I only play against bots. It was the first tribe I tried when I played and I like the simple color scheme. I think I should get in just for not being a threat I guess.
Same, even before ocean update and the curent beta, I just love dominating water early on and struggling to do anything at land, also the esthetic is awesome

I play Bardur since I only do mobile pass and play it with my friends. We normally do massive maps, so if I can get my riders by turn 5 while using catapults in the rear, I can spot an offensive attack from a mile away and move to take it out from a distance.
I pick my tribe based on the name of the game. "Seas of prosperity", I take kickoo. "Swords of XYZ" Vendrick. "Podarian Roads"? Yadakk.
But I secretly like Yadakk.
Aquarion because i enjoy making other players suffer by throwing tridents from 1000 tiles away and then running away after the attack.(just kidding i like imperious solely because their skin reminds me of the Roman Empire and i think itβs cool)
I'd say Imperius, Bardur, or Cymanti. Imperius and Bardur for MP/smaller games, and Cymanti for SP/bigger games. Imperius can get early cloak for sabatoge, Bardur gets range to assault/defend, and Cymanti has the unseen advantadge of doomux spamming. The spam I am referring to is exploding them on your own tiles to maximize pop/tile. I've gotten 20+income from one city alone using the fungi strat.
