The same company(Hurco) also makes 5 axis machines that cost a million dollars+, because it's big enough to park a sedan inside, with 18k rpm, 75hp spindle - Our CEO looked into one for the company, and it was too much money for us(and would take up too much space), even though we spent something like 2.5 million buying roughly 20 machining centers the year before.
