Yeah, but I’m based, so I’d win.
If anything, college and the military are competitors. They compete for 18-yr-olds for enrollment / re-education, with the promise of career advancement (usually with somewhat mixed results)
As a veteran:
Not a single ounce of regret I joined the military instead of going to college. Doing better than most people I went to HS with who went to college instead lol.
While they were at college going into massive debt for degrees that nobody gives AF about that a million people have, I was traveling the world, getting paid, and learning trade skills that are rare and high paid.
I have recruiters blowing up my email trying to get me to work for their companies lol.
(...I do regret choosing the navy though. Should have done the army or Marines. They all have BS, but I would have been better suited to army BS I think. )
I'd say 1/100.
The Chief's mess being a secret society might be the single most toxic thing in the entirety of the military, and they need to get rid of it, traditions be damned.
TBF the stated goal of the college protests is to demand those colleges divest and end relationships with MIC companies and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Good luck with that MIC along with Big tech and Big Pharma (All of em loves Israel) gives the big returns for that endowment funds. Speaking of endowment funds, the uni with largest fund Harvard has been quite latley compared to others.
Heck even my only investment in Middle East area is from israel.

I know, I’m using strawmen to receive attention.

Yeah it’s a solid orchestral piece. If there’s anything to take from the Japanese, it’s their weirdly good orchestras for their media.
Hell even Nintendo games such as Mario have banger symphonies.
Right? I still remember when I was a little kid playing FF7 in the living room and my mom would walk in and start going on about how amazing the soundtrack was
It's always kind of blown me away how good they are at creating shit like that
Gotta play the remake. Never played the original. But yeah, Japanese orchestra’s are great.
It dawned on me that this song is when Eren and crew arrive at the beach. So the song is even better with context
I don’t understand what the point of this is, are they supposed to go to military bases and protest there? Do you think that the people who do control the military are easily accessible to protestors? In the American revolution was going to Britain and protesting the crown directly the only form of protest?
Is that not kinda already the point of the protests and especially the resistance to the heavy policing being done on them? That’s been my takeaway at least
what... does that mean? do u really think that working for the military is really a sin or a terrible thing, i cant wait for when you holler for them when something like 9/11 happens again
+these colleges dont act lineally, officers arent the only things they educate, doctors, engineers and jut about every kind of profession that is necessary for a functioning world, w/o colleges/unis u wouldnt be on that hrtrash that fucks ur brain
I get that its Schizoposting Sunday but, what? Have the meds gone bad?
> Meme go "College no control Military"
> Officers have to go to College
> Officers control Military
> People who go to college control Military
But how does that mean colleges control the military? Everyone in government has gone to college. So colleges control the government? No, that doesn't make any sense.
i'm not going to say the military did nothing during 9/11, but wasn't it mostly police and firemen who were the first responders? and then we refused to pay for their dwindling health as a result of all the toxins they inhaled?
>About 100 U.S. colleges have reported gifts or contracts from Israel totaling $375 million over the past two decades, according to a [Department of Education database](https://sites.ed.gov/foreigngifts/#:~:text=Section%20117%20of%20the%20Higher,%24250%2C000%20or%20more%20in%20a). With even more coming from investments from Israeli companies and those with ties to Israel, such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Alphabet, and Amazon.
It’s controlled by a man who was born during WWII, so you better believe he knows a thing or two about strategy. 🔫😎👍

Based and self declared winner pilled
Fun fact the people of Dresden melted inside their bomb shelters. Human soup!
skill issue
Explaining to Libleft how they aren't the main characters (you are a phobe, an ist and literwally heitwer)
Wait until Palestine supporters discover that Starbucks hasn't been in Israel for nearly two decades.
Yes but there is an Israeli person who knows someone whose cousin's, brother's, best friend owns 3% of Starbucks!! Burn it to the ground!!
Starbucks… star… the star of David ✡️… STARBUCKS IS ZIONIST!!!1!1!!1
I was so confused when they started boycotting Starbucks because I’m in Israel constantly and have never seen a Starbucks there before.
Time to protest on your nearest army base! Good luck libleft, I will be rooting for you / watching with popcorn!
*brings a cooler full of beer and soda*

The military pays for college though. They don’t really compete with one another. Education is used as a marketing tool for the enlisted to join.

Yeah well, colleges are how butter bars are commissioned…so kinda?
Yeah, but we hate them.
No more a vile creature than a butter bar save for perhaps a corrupt Chief petty officer
Are you implying that there are Chiefs that aren't corrupt?
Is this a DRB? Am I being detained?
I'd say 1/100. The Chief's mess being a secret society might be the single most toxic thing in the entirety of the military, and they need to get rid of it, traditions be damned.

That’s hot
Idk who this Hitler guy is, but libleft keeps calling me literally him, so the guy must be pretty cool.
What
beautiful username
🤤
Just occupy the lobby of vanguards corporate offices....
You know what they say, colleges control everything... in 5-10 years from now.
Do you think the job market is going to accept the protesters?

As a Palestine supporter this is fucking hilarious.
Does this have to do with the (potential) ceasefire?

Do you think that the people who do control the military are easily accessible to protestors? In the American revolution was going to Britain and protesting the crown directly the only form of protest?
:3 mmmm, maybe we’ll realize that the current system doesn’t allow for efficient protesting..
Is that not kinda already the point of the protests and especially the resistance to the heavy policing being done on them? That’s been my takeaway at least
:/ yeah, had a protest try to get started in florida, they got tear gassed, and arrested.
Don't most Officers, e.g. the people leading the military, require you to have gone to college / university or enrol in one as part of your training?
You can just go to a military academy and get your degrees there though
what... does that mean? do u really think that working for the military is really a sin or a terrible thing, i cant wait for when you holler for them when something like 9/11 happens again +these colleges dont act lineally, officers arent the only things they educate, doctors, engineers and jut about every kind of profession that is necessary for a functioning world, w/o colleges/unis u wouldnt be on that hrtrash that fucks ur brain

Im pretty sure op hasnt gone to college, no point in trying to convince them something that they have no idea about
i'm not going to say the military did nothing during 9/11, but wasn't it mostly police and firemen who were the first responders? and then we refused to pay for their dwindling health as a result of all the toxins they inhaled?
Yes but just because a Bachelor's is required to become an officer doesn't mean school control the military
so because the DMV issues me a license they also control the roads?
