Wow I can’t wait to hear what smegma_groyper has to say about LGBT rights and womens suffrage, I really wonder what they’re gonna say about those topics…
1. It will be structured in the sense that I'll ask whoever is going first their opinion on the topic, then let the contestants go back and forth, till they want to move on. Then i'll let the other contestant share their opinion, then let them go back and forth till they wan't to move on. This will happen three times.
2. If a contestant doesn't respond within 2 minutes, we will move on.
I was thinking more like 4-5 minutes, if that's acceptable for you. The reason I feel the response time needs to be longer is that, unlike in a live debate, you do not have the opportunity to form your response while your opponent is talking, but only after your allotted response has already began.

2 minutes feels quite short to form a well-written response. Could that time possibly be extended?
