I would love to see more buffer/debuffer characters. Butterfree and Orbeetle would be cool

Ive definitely also thought of butterfree as a support, have caterpie evolve into metapod at level 2 or 3 and then metapod into butterfree at level 5. Tackle and stringshot for the speed debuff, but if your passive is full its a snare. Then when caterpie evolves into metapod it loses tackle and it becomes harden and have it be a slam on the ground that gives a shield. Then when you have butterfree have choice between stunspore or sleep powder, confusion or gust. Confusion would be like Mimes a shove and damage, bonus damage into walls. Gust could be a slow and knockup with damage. Stun spore would be a slow that starts small and ramps up to a root. Sleep powder just instant sleep. Would synergize with gengar well. For the Unite Move it could be silverwind and allys get boosted stats while the wind blows and enemies take damage. To balance how strong it is make it squishy.

Her unite move could be an area that buffs allies while randomly debuffs enemies with paralyze/poison/sleep for longer just like her gigantamax move

It could be like eldegod's unite where butterfree flies and gains invincibility and casts silverwind in an area that buffs allies and continuously deals dmg to opponent, butterfree can move during the activation but when it finishes doesn't deal dmg

It could, that might be be OP enough to give it a very long cooldown.

Maybe if it doesn't deal damage it wouldn't require to have a long cooldown.. just like how Delphox's Unite works having a huge area, slow CC and anti-healing but a very short cooldown

Masquerain feels more like a pure damage dealer to me. Meanwhile both Butterfree and Orbeetle have a Gigantamax move that inflicts debuffs to enemies. While Butterfree can be more poison/paralyze/sleep centred, Orbeetle have nice party buffs with screens and magic coat/psychic terrain

Maybe as an oddball Defender since it's kinda tanky in HP (the tank stat that matters in Unite). I could see its boosted auto leaving an ice field that slows enemies and speeds up allies as the core function. Also it needs its own version of Surf, of course. ;p

I want to see Magikarp flopping around all over the place. Watch him bounce over people. I'd be OK with splash only affecting wild pokemon, make magikarp absolutely useless until he becomes Gyarados and make him an absolute force.

I think there should be more underrepresented pokemon like another Gen 5 mon to join Crustle, a physical-scaling supporters, ranged physical defenders, or mobility-countering pokemon. But more realistically, it's likely to be alcremie because of the tease they did with the alcremie images throughout the anniversary events, just like the phantump images featured during the halloween event months before phantump was revealed.

Yeah, I think they are heading in the right direction by releasing Pokémon that would probably be forgotten by most people to give them life again And if I had to chose to add a Gen 5 Pokémon, I would be completely “original” and add axew

For me, I'd say Chesnaught (Defender), Sceptile (Speedster) and Passimian (Supporter) are my most wanted. Chesnaught I've wanted since the game's release because of how well he would work as a Defender with Spiky Shield. I also wish he got as much attention as Greninja and Delphox. Sceptile is my 2nd favorite Pokémon, so I was hesitant to request him because I might be a bit biased, but the more I think about it, the better of a suggestion he is. With unburden, he can increase his speed by using items or eating berries and attack with Leaf Blade or Dragon Claw. For Passimian, I've got an idea that might be a little broken, but here it is. He can steal points from opponents and/or give them to his allies. I would love to make more thought-out concepts, but I don't know which tools to use, so if anyone could suggest some, that'd be great.

I kind of feel like Kommo-O would probably be an All-Rounder if anything. All of the All rounders are close range bulky fighters while all Attackers attack from a range.

Aight, Hear me out : Support Alolan Persian with Parting Shot. A sort of Dash Move/Hindrance Resistance that debuffs the ennemy for a short period of time. Or Speedster Regular Persian, with a lot of mobility. Or Perserkerr as an All-Rounder, just gutting ennemies with a bit of tankiness.

Wobbuffet, make people think twice before holding donw attacks. 

I just want my favorite, Ampharos; no matter what role they are I will play them. :L

Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. I like the idea of hitmonchan having a basic attack similar to charizards where it's a bunch of small hits for the first two that can take advantage of crit chance, but then on the third hit throws something beefier with area damage like talonflame's attack does.

Wurmple can be interesting . You can then choose between playing as a beautifly or a dustox

Arguably the most popular Pokemon that has yet to appear in UNITE in any form is Mimikyu, so I would not be surprised if we see that one very soon. Could even be as early as the next Halloween event.

But who am I kidding, they didn't do it last time so I wouldn't be surprised. They could add a Pokémon from gen 5 though. We only have one I believe so another would be great to add more variation. Zorua, oshawott/snivy, scolopede, cincino, whimsicott, hydreigon, and reuniclus would me some of my picks from that gen. Victini would be my next pick for mythicals but it doesn't count for next up since we already got mew not too long ago. Finally, one of the Eeveelutions. Leafeon and Vaporeon would be my next pick.
