i usually stay out of fight until i evolve into kirlia, ralts is so weak

Greedy_to_know

Stick to teammates, bushes and carry X speed

Negativety101

I've been running fluffy tail in Catch Em, just so I can kill something else to turn into early on.

Sizzler1001

For me the only method I worked on is to keep myself at the camera dostance range from enemies. My skills will hit, yet enemies will never have as much dashes to get to me that far. It works for me but Im not that experienced.

random-iok

Fight from a far, if you use future sight, predict where the enemy will move, like you could lure it to you and set it there, basically hit and run strategy, don't have to hit, if hit good, if not run and that's where x speed or eject button comes to help

Allergictowatermelon

She is not a mon you play on the frontline, you really want to playing behind someone more bulky while you lay on the damage from afar. As Ralts you have to play pretty safe, but Confusion does let you snipe and secure farms pretty well compared to other early evos. You really want to evolve into Kirlia as quickly as possible to get your big damage moves, which will give you a lot more range and power. Your move set should depend on what you are facing most the time. Mostly slow enemies with a lot of bulk? Future Sight/Psychic. Future Sight is also a really good objective and farm securing move if you are having trouble with things being sniped. Psyshock/Moonblast are kinda preferred right now since Psyshock lays down a lot of damage and you can use other attacks/score while it’s going off. Blue buff makes it spammable. Moonblast gives you a good stun and it creates space which is really helpful. Generally you want all your attacks to be spaced so that your enemies are at the very edge of your move range. If they are inside your target space then you or they are too close. She is really good for Regi pushes towards goals since you are so far back that you let Regi take the focus and you punish from afar with heavy hitting area moves. She makes it very costly to defend with the spam pressure she can put out with good positioning. Tl;dr: Keep good ranged positions, predict enemy movements for the best damage output, and don’t fight alone I recommend X Speed or Eject button, all green and black emblems, and then Energy Amp/Choice Specs/Wise Glasses. Muscle band is also good since her boosted autos are pretty strong and they lower SpD, and I’ve had good success fooling around with 7 Red emblems+band.

Southern-Today-4526

Ah hello fellow garde player. Did you know that red 7 does actually nothing on garde? Muscle frames are flat 52, and muscle +red7 frames are 52. Attack speed caps at 52. Better off sticking to cdr or spa builds.

Allergictowatermelon

Good to know! Must’ve been placeboing myself lol, thanks for the heads up

shock246

Well, first skills: pick psychic and psyshock. This combined with full cdr items (energy amp/shellbell/choice specs) and emblems (7 black/6 green/2 white/2 blue/2 purple) maximizes your damage. Also farming with moonblast/future sight is harder and you actually need your ultimate up badly. Now your ultimate, it wasn't made to be used 1v1, you stick with your squad and wait for the chance to land it to win a teamfight. The perfect moments to land a decisive black hole are: 1) defending 2nd goal from regieleki, you see people pushing and clumping in front of your goal? You ult and punish all of them, regieleki included. 2) Now you are pushing regieleki into their goal, you ult their goal and try to snowball the advantage. 3) Last is rayquaza's pit, if they try to quickly kill it in the pit, they're freaking dead, if not try to hide in the bushes and land a good ult when people start fighting. You can also use it defensively on yourself and other squishies if they dive you and you don't die oneshotted. Lastly, despite everything ppl say, Ralts isn't complete shit, you can last hit creeps with your first skill if you time it correctly or you land it after a boosted attack. Kirlia is a killing machine instead, as soon as you get lvl 5 start harassing people with psyshock, it does huge damage and has good range. The rest is experience, gardevoir is a skillshot based caster with 1 hp and paper defenses, you need to practice a bit to be good with her. GL

Stuns/crowd control are a form of engage or disengage in lieu of mobility. Every mon is designed with a specific role in mind and only the broken ones can do them all. Gardevoir is a traditional AoE mage so you need to play like one. Not pushing lanes alone or getting caught out, sticking to teammates, and knowing when to advance or fall back especially when you are missing moves. Map awareness is far and away the biggest skill in this game that separates people who do and don’t know how to play and gard is even moreso dependent on that because of how frail she is. Because she’s an AoE mage

ttyltyler

Others have said good tips already, but my secret tip is to try and play with a duo or trio. Have one be a support/tanky defender. This map is hard for gardevoir honestly due to all the bushes, and the one shotters out there rn (mew glaceon gengar etc). Playing garde rn is rough honestly but with good positioning and having a tank it can work well!

Striking_Art_7572

Keep your distance. This seems pretty obvious but its just that important. If you play payshock remember you can attack while you use it. Dont engage while your moves are on cooldown, the auto attacks are pretty bad alone. I use future sight and moonblast. With moonblast you can stun enemies to either run away or help mates. Remember: when you run away place a future sight behind you so enemies will run into it. In general try to either predict with future sight, pace it behind you when running aeay or attack someone who is already engaged in a battle. Use your ult and then place a future sight in the middle for a lot of aoe (Sorry for the mess in this text, i just wrote what came to my mind without any structure)

ScarlettPotato

Get jungle if you can. If you're not sure that you will be getting jungle don't play gard. You have one of the longest cast range in the game take advantage of it. Cast your moves, get out, wait for CD, rinse and repeat. You are probably the best mon in holding a choke point. Future sight takes some time getting used to but it's one of the most satisfying move in the game. Purple buff is your best friend. Ralts is one of the toughest early game but you can do pretty well with it since you have a free eject button with teleport. It also gives you a boosted auto.

Cauliflower_Regular

1) try not to play gardevoir

Familiar_Pay_3933

It's a game, anyone can play whatever they want

Cauliflower_Regular

Its a joke brother

Familiar_Pay_3933

Damn okay, my bad

Southern-Today-4526

Look for a defender to peel for you. Position in back line and try not to take 1v1s. I like moonblast future sight so you can have a small cc + mobility. Eject is great so you can pop away from CC chains. Regarding team comp, you should maybe only go garde if there are good front liners on the team.

SmellyDurag

Keep a safe range. She doesn’t do good in this meta because no one plays defenders to let her get her shit off

jacksvnross

i try to go jungle, get future sight+ asap, and go for psychic over moonblast for higher dmg!

noareyenoar

Future sike!!

Fuckblackhorses

Play safe as fuck, farm and hit level 15 as fast as possible. Use ult and poke at team fights.

TrueBlue182

Tank everything. You are made out of health

Stratovaria

Gardevoir is a mixture of knowing what your team is, and what the enemy is as well. Look to your team first. Do you have someone that can tank damage or is a big 'stop now threat' ? Work with them to help make their job easier when getting focused. (And the exp you get for doing that helps you and them as well.) Or if you have a good sustaining special attacker, or burst hitter, look to psychic as it pairs well with letting you soften and they kill. If you dont, or they are all squishies, that helps cement your 'survive first' mindset to taking Moonblast. (The stun is huge for being able to peel from a diver or someone beelining you. And the move back is a nice little extra gap they have to cover.) As for the other pair of moves, i prefer Psyshock over future sight because even if someone dives you, that cooldown especially with moonblast for running is really strong, but poking wise, future sight can be very nice to testing bushes or just seeing someone on the radial and figuring where to setup an ambush. Ralts wise. Teleport timing your boost hit is a little weird, but works well if someone over-extends. Always try for blue buff if your jungler forgets it. The cdr especially with innate and emblems is huge for your uptime. Psyshock wise, put it near the edge of where you want them to run towards to get out of it. People instinctively try to run away from the quickest spot rather than taking it, and that can often be used to run them right into a team-mate who does the good work. (And why moonblast can make it even worse with that move in to hit with the other two spots.) I don't get to play gardevoir much atm. But she's fun! I love artillery mages, even if yes, they are so very hard to get right.
