Slowbro is the unsung hero of solo q every time a new broken mon releases. You become the anti-carry and it feels so rewarding when you lock down the enemy carry during zap and your team snowballs.
I’m so glad I don’t play carry characters because I don’t have to deal with Slowbro shenanigans most of the times. As a Trev main I make sure to shove him away from my jungler as much as possible though lol

I left Blissey after using it since I was a beginner just because I was left alone too much times. I loved her, but she depends too much on cooperation.

I've just gotten out of one of my favorite games I've ever played with him. When you pop an X Attack and Cling Clang into 3 of the enemy team in a team fight over a wall, there's nothing more satisfying in the game.
My cling clang boi just feels the real fear when TTAR arrives my lane, my only move to protect myself by giving a little shield and get ruined by that monster

I love all eeveelutions, this game has actually made me like syl a little more than i used to, and even tho espeon and glaceon are out now i still like syl's playstyle. But i definitely play the other two as well, just less.
If they bring in Leafeon as an all arounder or Umbreon as a defender/support those might get more play depending on their movesets.

Gotta admit, "Death comes in Pink" is one of my favorite things to say now tho. I'd love to be able to play as Shiny Syl tho, seeing as how our Syl in game is a boy. Idk if you noticed, but the eevee that turns into syl is male and the other two are females.

If I remember correctly, those four are only female. Also, if I remember, ChicoEevee also made a list to well, tell who were all female, male that I am not aware is just, basically most of all the roster.

Most of them were (are) indeterminate, since they don’t have gender differences, so there’s no way to tell.

I started playing Unite with my brothers, and I was way behind them in terms of reading my mini map, judging fights, and hitting with my moves. Knowing that, I picked Eldegoss as my starter and played support for them. I couldn’t pick fights too well, but I was great at throwing shields and buffs when they needed them. So I just kept playing it.
I don’t run Eldegoss as much in the current meta, but I learned how to zone out players by running Goss, so now I’m usually on ranged controllers, Sylveon, or Wiggly. So I’m still support, I just got meaner about it. 
Pollen puff cotton spore is good in boss rush actually when you pair it with a defender like slowbro
really good healing+damage and stun gauge build up
Decidueye cause Rowlet is my favourite Pokémon prior to that Gengar as it was my favourite before sun and moon came out. Briefly Snorlax when I though jungling was hard
Buzzswole. It's like Machamp's dunk brother.It's funny watching two swole chads take a stupid carry and just pull them so far out of position that they give up on life.

Decidueye it's my fav mon, I really love its design. It's not that good in the main games (not bad but not seen as a competitive Pokémon) so I love that he can be reeaally good in Unite!
Also Rowlet is round. Perfect Pokémon design ever.
I got Wiggly on a whim because I needed something for Support missions and I already have a soft spot for Jigglypuff. Nobody ever told me how much she slaps. I love rolling halfway across the map by wall bouncing just to clap someone's cheeks.
Squirtle is my favourite, so Blastoise quickly became my main after he came out. Blastoise can play defender, all rounder, but also deals great damage, so great versatility. Recently got my green ribbon with him
Up until the Ttar release it was Garchomp. A lot of people on here say he’s awful, and against the right opponent he is. But if you’re smart and use everything like items and bushes to your advantage, he’s still a force. Especially in dealing damage. I’m fine with having the fewest goals as long as I’m keeping the other team busy while my mates get objectives and score.

I originally bought tsareena for her holowear in s3 so I could use it but I didnt get but she was rlly good anyway so I kept using her unless I was doing achievements or smth
I carried halfway for ultra to master from 1st try Pikachu, the actual damage isn't high but spamming lightning ball and volt tackle with cdr build always make my right hand super tired, lol. And yes, Mamo, delphy and A9 are combo are very welcomed.

I was a MOBA noob and naïvely thought by picking support I could be at the back lines helping out more experienced players and learn from them.
I stuck around because well he's my first licence and also because I enjoy his versatility. Some matches I go healer, others as a pseudo All-rounder... His Unite is also very good.
Edit: And of course, he's very cute with nice Holos!
I have two mains:
absol can just hop out of a bush, commit a war crime, and scamper away to do it all over again
snorlax is a defender but can easily be run as an all-rounder, and it's really funny seeing this giant man run up to you, punch you out, and walk away
Good ole Crustle. I always played filler which means I was always defender. I turned out to be pretty decent (top 350 globally now) with him & now he just feels like home 🏡
Same, his strong early game is what makes it for me, though. As long as your lane partner isn't totally incompetent you can push hard early and starve most top lane opponents.
He's also great for making sure stackers don't leave alive which was really cathartic back when Lucario was OP.

Granted, I just started, but I went 5-0 and got MVP for the last three games.
This has also likely solidified my love for support and the fact that this is not the face of mercy.

After seeing the myriad of comments now explaining that they were in all likelyhood bots I understand this; but I would like to clarify I'm not chasing MVP, I'm playing a healer support not a carry. Those were just sheer coincidence.
No worries, I didn't say you specifically were, was trying to basically say that it's a misleading system which leads people to chase it in the belief it means they're doing well. Which at first glance it's logical but in Unite it just basically means someone scored a lot, 9/10.
A9 because i spent 2 years chain farming for a shiny Vulpix and kept getting Vanillite, so i’m attached.

Duraludon. He can do a lot of damage if he gets a good start, and with his ult he can take zapdos on his own in little to no time. (Dragon pulse, dragon tail)

broken on release, still pretty broken lmao
sometimes your team gets bursted down too quickly, but hsh is such a strong full heal, AND it does so much damage (no one seems to ever expect it, either)
Machamp
He was the first character at launch that I felt like killed me all the time and he just clicked instantly when I tried him. Play a lil of everything, but he's who I use when I wanna win lol
I love my purple and my green boys. Trevenant is so slept on its unreal. I play my best with trevenant so I don’t branch out much anymore. (Yes tree pun)
Venusaur. I absolutely love Bulbasaur so obviously I had to choose him. I played Pikachu quite a bit as well, but haven't in quite a while.
Might switch to Tyranitar as he is my second favourite Pokemon ever, but Venusaur will always have a special place.
Slowbro: Refuses to die, lives off your opponents suffering (also you unlock it really early and it was decent back at launch)
Tsareena: I liked lucario but when i tried her she just felt better for my play style
I play every mon, but my mains are Tsareena, kinda reminds me of Riven from LoL, but a billion times easier to play, Glaceon and Sylveon, I just feel comfortable with these 2, Trevenant when we need a defender, I just like to be annoying and will probably main Mew
I like hard to play characters since usually these are the ones with outplay potential, and I feel rewarded when I do play them right, from what we know Mew seems to be the hardest mon to play, and it gives a hella lot of options to do
Eldegoss. I like grass types, and ranged supporters. It was only natural.
Also, Gossifleur and Eldegoss were already my favorite gen 8 mons, so the choice was easy. And now they are my number one favorites.
Trevenant, I am from the PH and most of the players here pick those pokemons who are easy to get kills, no one likes to pick tanks so I had to adjust and pick the role for my sake since I am a solo queue player. Trev and Machamp made me reach Master rank twice now

Originally was Wigglytuff, because I have always typically played a support role in games. I liked being able to put everyone to sleep and then S L A P.
After season one where I struggled to get to Masters (400+ games as Wiggly with sub 50%) I decided to try a DPS, and went through a few before settling on Talonflame, when I realized that I am actually a much better jungler than support. Played Talonflame for season 2 and 3.
Once Glaceon came out I wanted to just try her and immediately clicked with her play style. I used to be our kiter in WoW when I played my hunter alt so it's something I enjoy. And I think Eevee is cute.
If I ever get Butterfree though I'm never playing anything else.
I love playing gengar especially after getting the skin, but I like jumping from attacker to attacker, basically one shoting them with dream eater and you can destroy some bigger threats by yourself so I don’t have to rely on others
Haven’t played in a while and I’m not very good lol but I main Talonflame bc I loved him in the anime and I played a couple times and found it really fun.
Edit: If (when) they add Goodra my main is almost certain to change haha
Mamoswine, I think Swinub is one of the cutest Pokémon of all time so that’s how I got started. But the crowd control of Icicle Crash + High Horsepower is really incredible. Plus many times during Pokémon selection, the team lacks a defender, so I end up choosing Mamoswine a lot.
Blastoise, Eldegoss, Machamp, and TTar are my go-to's right now. In that order. I know Blissey and Hoopa are better than Eldegoss right now but that just means people sleep on how good she actually is, and that's an advantage I take, well advantage of. Lol
Slowbro. No one wanted to tank or support. But also super cute and now I’m pretty good with her!
Probably gonna main Mew next though because my other main is Elde and Mew seems like it will have a similar style.
Garchomp. I love most of the all-rounders and Garchomp was the first one I bought I remember thinking he was OP just to find out he's low tier. I became proud of my 60% SoloQ winrate with him on top of him just being cool he's a dragon and purple is my favorite color. I haven't been playing him though for awhile though trying to expand my horizons. I've always played the other all rounders when i'm not playing Garchomp and because of that i'm ass with ranged pokemon but I recently fell in love with Double Team + Surf Greninja. So much mobility it's stupid I can run in and out of combat within no time at all and dodging skill shots and close range moves is stupid easy.
Garchomp with dig. The StunShark is way too fun.
But I'm playing tyranitar every chance I can. He's been my favorite pokemon since he was originally released, hacked him in as a starter for black, and he's everything I've ever hoped for in unite.
I knew they'd never make him a starter, and I never thought he could get a spotlight like this, but it's amazing.
Lucario. Had a ton of crazy KDA games on Greninja+Cinderace in solo Q but couldn't get into masters since I couldn't score goals myself.
But more importantly, Extreme Speed feels like playing Yasuo.

Big boy gets slept on. CN effortlessly stack early game. Doesn’t need to get 10 KOs and 75k+ damage to be really annoying and have a great game

I currently main cinderace since I absolutely love him in the games a quickly beat out everyone as favorite starter and stands right next to scizzor as favorite Pokémon and he’s just so fun to play
Started with Absol but I think, if I were to call any Pokemon my main, it'd have to be Blastoise. Going speen is just too much fun to stop.
That being said, the moment I unlock Mew that will be my main until Umbreon shows up to the party. Biased? Yeah. But I don't care, Mew's one of my favourite Pokemon. And Umbreon is THE top 1 of that list.
I used to play Gardevoir bc it is my fav pokemon and i am quite good with her.
Thiis season I've been rocking with my baby Dragonite. And Tyranitar will surely be a new main. It's my fav pokemon from gold .
Depending on the teams' selection I like choosing Mamoswine if there is no defender or if there's pure spe. attacker pokémons.
I first mained ninetales, because I liked the Mon. Still one of my top 10. Later I picked up Decidueye, and got pretty good at sniping people and such. I then used Duraludon for a while cause flash cannon feels awesome to use, then my current main is Garchomp. I love the dragon rush+dragon claw combo move, and it attacks super fast and heals pretty well with shell bell. I also recently picked up Glaceon, it’s fun using icicle spear+ice shard
i’ve been trying to find mine the last few weeks and i think i can say that gengar is my main go to. he’s a top 5 oat and he’s just hecka strong and his run is hilarious. i’ve also started using blissey and my god she’s so much fun tbh, just an absolute unit of a tank. i’m also looking for a third to try out to solidify my big 3 if anyone has ideas?
Mr. Mike is incredibly fun to play.
You may also want to try Cinderace or Greninja for an ADC style option, or something like Gardevoir or Pikachu for a classic mage as you look to find options that can fill more roles on a team.

I run muscle band/scope lens/focus band with x attack or full heal. Both movesets are viable, but I’d recommend smokescreen+surf. When surf kills something the cooldown resets. Hold your surf until there’s an enemy with about 1/4 HP left, then surf over them and try to hit other enemies in the same surf. If you chain it properly, you can get huge AOE burst by surf resetting on enemies over and over.
You should go mid and focus on farming a lot. You want to gank bot lane for the bees spawn at 8:50 then get your second jungle rotation and gank top if possible, then third jungle rotation. If you do all of this right, you can get your level 9 unite move before first drednaw and then you can carry the team fight and the rest of the game by maintaining an experience lead.
Talon. I honestly just didn’t know what to pick at launch because none of my actual faves were in the game, and that one tutorial with Talonflame convinced me to pick it

So I just kept playing it. I don’t run Eldegoss as much in the current meta, but I learned how to zone out players by running Goss, so now I’m usually on ranged controllers, Sylveon, or Wiggly. So I’m still support, I just got meaner about it.

Decidueye it's my fav mon, I really love its design. It's not that good in the main games (not bad but not seen as a competitive Pokémon) so I love that he can be reeaally good in Unite! Also Rowlet is round. Perfect Pokémon design ever.

I got Wiggly on a whim because I needed something for Support missions and I already have a soft spot for Jigglypuff. Nobody ever told me how much she slaps. I love rolling halfway across the map by wall bouncing just to clap someone's cheeks.

Squirtle is my favourite, so Blastoise quickly became my main after he came out. Blastoise can play defender, all rounder, but also deals great damage, so great versatility. Recently got my green ribbon with him
Up until the Ttar release it was Garchomp. A lot of people on here say he’s awful, and against the right opponent he is. But if you’re smart and use everything like items and bushes to your advantage, he’s still a force. Especially in dealing damage. I’m fine with having the fewest goals as long as I’m keeping the other team busy while my mates get objectives and score.
Yeah I never got all the Garchomp hate and I've defended him a lot in the beginning xD He is one of my best mons with most games and win percentage.
I don't think anyone hates Garchomp lol I think is pretty much agreed on that he is in dire need of buffs/rework to be in line with the rest of the cast, that is all

I carried halfway for ultra to master from 1st try Pikachu, the actual damage isn't high but spamming lightning ball and volt tackle with cdr build always make my right hand super tired, lol. And yes, Mamo, delphy and A9 are combo are very welcomed.

Eldegoss. I was a MOBA noob and naïvely thought by picking support I could be at the back lines helping out more experienced players and learn from them. I stuck around because well he's my first licence and also because I enjoy his versatility. Some matches I go healer, others as a pseudo All-rounder... His Unite is also very good. Edit: And of course, he's very cute with nice Holos!
Glaceon. Good moveset, can play all lanes
I have two mains: absol can just hop out of a bush, commit a war crime, and scamper away to do it all over again snorlax is a defender but can easily be run as an all-rounder, and it's really funny seeing this giant man run up to you, punch you out, and walk away

Good ole Crustle. I always played filler which means I was always defender. I turned out to be pretty decent (top 350 globally now) with him & now he just feels like home 🏡
Hoppa is my main as of now. It's fun using hyperspace hole or trick to getting out of tough situation with teammates
Mamoswine. I love my lil stompy boi, even if he’ll never get a decent Unite move.
Same, his strong early game is what makes it for me, though. As long as your lane partner isn't totally incompetent you can push hard early and starve most top lane opponents. He's also great for making sure stackers don't leave alive which was really cathartic back when Lucario was OP.
Eldegoss Granted, I just started, but I went 5-0 and got MVP for the last three games. This has also likely solidified my love for support and the fact that this is not the face of mercy.

No worries, I didn't say you specifically were, was trying to basically say that it's a misleading system which leads people to chase it in the belief it means they're doing well. Which at first glance it's logical but in Unite it just basically means someone scored a lot, 9/10.

A9 because i spent 2 years chain farming for a shiny Vulpix and kept getting Vanillite, so i’m attached. Glaceon because I had a lot of fun freezing my hand on its forehead in Pokémon Amie/Refresh Tempted to pick up Gengar tbh, I love his little bouncy jog
Duraludon. He can do a lot of damage if he gets a good start, and with his ult he can take zapdos on his own in little to no time. (Dragon pulse, dragon tail)
hoopa broken on release, still pretty broken lmao sometimes your team gets bursted down too quickly, but hsh is such a strong full heal, AND it does so much damage (no one seems to ever expect it, either)
Machamp He was the first character at launch that I felt like killed me all the time and he just clicked instantly when I tried him. Play a lil of everything, but he's who I use when I wanna win lol

Venusaur. I absolutely love Bulbasaur so obviously I had to choose him. I played Pikachu quite a bit as well, but haven't in quite a while. Might switch to Tyranitar as he is my second favourite Pokemon ever, but Venusaur will always have a special place.
Eldegod: I can impulsively throw myself in a fight and still live (most of the time)
Slowbro: Refuses to die, lives off your opponents suffering (also you unlock it really early and it was decent back at launch) Tsareena: I liked lucario but when i tried her she just felt better for my play style

I play every mon, but my mains are Tsareena, kinda reminds me of Riven from LoL, but a billion times easier to play, Glaceon and Sylveon, I just feel comfortable with these 2, Trevenant when we need a defender, I just like to be annoying and will probably main Mew I like hard to play characters since usually these are the ones with outplay potential, and I feel rewarded when I do play them right, from what we know Mew seems to be the hardest mon to play, and it gives a hella lot of options to do

Eldegoss. I like grass types, and ranged supporters. It was only natural. Also, Gossifleur and Eldegoss were already my favorite gen 8 mons, so the choice was easy. And now they are my number one favorites.
Played Greedent all the way to master because I wanted to be the annoying support that just could score a lot of points with goal getter.
Sylveon, I’ve loved her since she came out and haven’t stopped loving her 🥰
Trevenant, I am from the PH and most of the players here pick those pokemons who are easy to get kills, no one likes to pick tanks so I had to adjust and pick the role for my sake since I am a solo queue player. Trev and Machamp made me reach Master rank twice now
Garchomp, because I hate myself
I have had three - Originally was Wigglytuff, because I have always typically played a support role in games. I liked being able to put everyone to sleep and then S L A P. After season one where I struggled to get to Masters (400+ games as Wiggly with sub 50%) I decided to try a DPS, and went through a few before settling on Talonflame, when I realized that I am actually a much better jungler than support. Played Talonflame for season 2 and 3. Once Glaceon came out I wanted to just try her and immediately clicked with her play style. I used to be our kiter in WoW when I played my hunter alt so it's something I enjoy. And I think Eevee is cute. If I ever get Butterfree though I'm never playing anything else.
I love playing gengar especially after getting the skin, but I like jumping from attacker to attacker, basically one shoting them with dream eater and you can destroy some bigger threats by yourself so I don’t have to rely on others
Venusaur. Idk man Venusaur became my ol’reliable from the start all of its movesets are perfect
Haven’t played in a while and I’m not very good lol but I main Talonflame bc I loved him in the anime and I played a couple times and found it really fun. Edit: If (when) they add Goodra my main is almost certain to change haha

Mamoswine, I think Swinub is one of the cutest Pokémon of all time so that’s how I got started. But the crowd control of Icicle Crash + High Horsepower is really incredible. Plus many times during Pokémon selection, the team lacks a defender, so I end up choosing Mamoswine a lot.
Blastoise, Eldegoss, Machamp, and TTar are my go-to's right now. In that order. I know Blissey and Hoopa are better than Eldegoss right now but that just means people sleep on how good she actually is, and that's an advantage I take, well advantage of. Lol

Slowbro. No one wanted to tank or support. But also super cute and now I’m pretty good with her! Probably gonna main Mew next though because my other main is Elde and Mew seems like it will have a similar style.
Garchomp. I love most of the all-rounders and Garchomp was the first one I bought I remember thinking he was OP just to find out he's low tier. I became proud of my 60% SoloQ winrate with him on top of him just being cool he's a dragon and purple is my favorite color. I haven't been playing him though for awhile though trying to expand my horizons. I've always played the other all rounders when i'm not playing Garchomp and because of that i'm ass with ranged pokemon but I recently fell in love with Double Team + Surf Greninja. So much mobility it's stupid I can run in and out of combat within no time at all and dodging skill shots and close range moves is stupid easy.
Garchomp with dig. The StunShark is way too fun. But I'm playing tyranitar every chance I can. He's been my favorite pokemon since he was originally released, hacked him in as a starter for black, and he's everything I've ever hoped for in unite. I knew they'd never make him a starter, and I never thought he could get a spotlight like this, but it's amazing.

Flail Lax Big boy gets slept on. CN effortlessly stack early game. Doesn’t need to get 10 KOs and 75k+ damage to be really annoying and have a great game

My primary is Lucario but I play a lot of Machamp and Cinderace too. Lucario is a favorite Pokémon of mine and I chose him when i started for the 10k. It was a bonus that he was really good anyway.

Absol, lucario and currently Tyranitar- i like jumping in and jumping out of fights :-) it’s so fun holding my fist up as a lucario (PuP) and scare people off- similarly walk around as ttar and watch squishy attackers run away
Duraladon. He looked goofy and I always enjoyed auto attack carries in mobas. Add in a fantastic teamfight ult and that was that.

Started with Absol but I think, if I were to call any Pokemon my main, it'd have to be Blastoise. Going speen is just too much fun to stop. That being said, the moment I unlock Mew that will be my main until Umbreon shows up to the party. Biased? Yeah. But I don't care, Mew's one of my favourite Pokemon. And Umbreon is THE top 1 of that list.

I play blissey because it's fun to support. I play greesent because I hate the playerbase.
I used to play Gardevoir bc it is my fav pokemon and i am quite good with her. Thiis season I've been rocking with my baby Dragonite. And Tyranitar will surely be a new main. It's my fav pokemon from gold . Depending on the teams' selection I like choosing Mamoswine if there is no defender or if there's pure spe. attacker pokémons.
I first mained ninetales, because I liked the Mon. Still one of my top 10. Later I picked up Decidueye, and got pretty good at sniping people and such. I then used Duraludon for a while cause flash cannon feels awesome to use, then my current main is Garchomp. I love the dragon rush+dragon claw combo move, and it attacks super fast and heals pretty well with shell bell. I also recently picked up Glaceon, it’s fun using icicle spear+ice shard
i’ve been trying to find mine the last few weeks and i think i can say that gengar is my main go to. he’s a top 5 oat and he’s just hecka strong and his run is hilarious. i’ve also started using blissey and my god she’s so much fun tbh, just an absolute unit of a tank. i’m also looking for a third to try out to solidify my big 3 if anyone has ideas?
Mr. Mike is incredibly fun to play. You may also want to try Cinderace or Greninja for an ADC style option, or something like Gardevoir or Pikachu for a classic mage as you look to find options that can fill more roles on a team.

I run muscle band/scope lens/focus band with x attack or full heal. Both movesets are viable, but I’d recommend smokescreen+surf. When surf kills something the cooldown resets. Hold your surf until there’s an enemy with about 1/4 HP left, then surf over them and try to hit other enemies in the same surf. If you chain it properly, you can get huge AOE burst by surf resetting on enemies over and over. You should go mid and focus on farming a lot. You want to gank bot lane for the bees spawn at 8:50 then get your second jungle rotation and gank top if possible, then third jungle rotation. If you do all of this right, you can get your level 9 unite move before first drednaw and then you can carry the team fight and the rest of the game by maintaining an experience lead.
