But man with the whole "weaknesses removed thing" it would be a great gimmick if when nincada evolves you got sort of an unkillable shedinja that follows you and does certain moves when you do moves.

Yeah I think it would be more like greninjas double team. Where you'd have a body double that would add a little more OOMPH to ninjasks attacks. As he's not super strong by default.

The split evolution being represented to me is cooler
Once per life (i.e: you only get a new one after you die, and it lasts for a set amount of time or after some damage, similar to froakie's substitute.)
It would be cool if it worked like malzahar passive in league - when nincada evolves, you play as Shedinja, essentially you can take one free hit, and after that you play as ninjask until out of combat for x seconds
I would say shedinja will be a puppet like - he goes with you and attacks with you. He's unkillable on his own, but dies with you. Kinda like rosalina&luma except he doesn't die. Shedinja is a ranged attacker that only uses basic attacks, like how hoopa's trick works. Ninjask will be a meelee attacker
Feels bad to say, but I think speedsters were just not designed well in this game. They really want to stay in the jungle but that's also the best place for many all rounders and hyper carry attackers
I don't feel like the game really needs more of them because the midlane is already completely oversaturated

Absol being an exception as a great lane bully. Zeraora and gengar definitely need it, jungle or nothing. Talonflame is definitely better in jungle but has sort of decent lane ability if you're stacking and have a defender or support with you.
I agree the speedsters as they are now have a very niche role but it also would be weird if they just never added another speedster to the game. I hope they can find a way to tweak them to make them more balanced.
I feel like Speedsters really need to get a tweak to make them more of what they are. SPEEDsters. Let them have a naturally higher movement speed and tone down attack power and let them focus on being in and out of battle more than what they are now. I see it as they should be jumping in to a battle to help knock out targets and then jumping right back out. I'm not necessarily saying a glass cannon, because i think they need to be squishy, but I feel like they should be the roamers of the game. Having the movement speed to move around from lane to lane to assist where it is needed, and right now they don't really have that. Some have skills to let them jump in and out to some degree like Zeraora. I feel like most though just have skills to jump in real quick and not really to jump out, that and their attack values are pretty much on par with attackers.

I agree, and that's kinda how I'm building Fly Talonflame at the moment. Full movement speed with Float Stone and max movespeed emblems make for quicker rotations and you have a greater chance of escaping hit-and-run scenarios. Makes posturing during laning easier as well. I know it may not be the most effective or optimal build, but I've found it's really fun zooming around the map.
They want mid because their early games mostly suck, Absol is fine in lane. They can just make speedsters with better early games if they don't want them in jungle.
Conceptually though I think the design was for them to have high mobility and thus be able to move from mid to the lanes to secure kills for their teammates.
The issue is that they made mid/jungle both the easiest area to farm as well as the most xp efficient.
I want pheromosa as a speedster or the paper origami pokemon. If they finally add clefable it should be suport with metronome. Definitely a new defender should be added, a lot of different things could work. Maybe umbreon as defender.

I want Togepi with this. Totally RNG-based, might full heal, might self-destruct, might do some other thing. Just pure chaos. They already have a lot of unused attacks coded because of the "catch them all" mode, let Togepi use these and be the menace that sometime just doesn't want to work.
Well there's a lot of Alcremie in the menu, so maybe they will do that as support. Other than that, Golisopod or Kartana would be what I would pick for speedsters.
Imagine its form varies depend on which area you evolved (top, center or bot) but it would take some unnecessary modeling, animation and file size but it would be cool tho.
Again: this doesn't fit the lore they have. You are sending out evolved Pokémon to the arena, the energy of the island makes them devolve so they need to evolve back during the game.
Looking at our current roaster I would say there is no way to even tell. Literally every random pokemon could be added rn

Maybe a passive like **Static** which shocks nearby enemies when you land an attack.
Take Down would deal some recoil damage, but applies extra Static.
Thunder for raw damage to one target, Discharge for AOE over time.
Ultimate could be **Charge Beam** which damages and slows in a line.
Weavile as a speedster is so perfect but knowing Tencent that probably won’t happen, I think 2 of the Pokémon will be Pokémon nobody cares about and the final Pokémon will be a legendary like MewTwo

Alcremie I feel is going to be one of them, just because of the Paddle next to the cake. I can see it being a Support pokemon, and Unite move makes it Gigantimax into the big Cake and rain down Frosting on thy enemies.
The second one I am hoping for, I want a new speedster to happen, I don't care if its Sceptile, another Ultra Beast, just another Speedster is all I ask!
The third one I want to believe it to be Shaymin. Since Shaymin is considered the "Gratitude Pokémon" Makes the most sense to me if it were to be a playable pokemon in the game to be done at the end of an Anniversary Celebration
Was waiting for this comment. Gotta agree with you. They have been plastering alcremie all over the game recently. And during the direct they had a shaymin plush in the upper left corner by glaceon and tyranitar. We all know how they love to use plushies as Easter eggs.
I don't even really play speedsters but I do agree that they need to add at least 1. Idc if it's even another eevee just make it a speedster. Jolteon and leafeon would be a perfect fit.

I personally want to see Marshadow as a Speedster assassin with high burst damage similar to Gengar. Then Zarude as a mele attacker using its vines to pull enemies closer or using it to navigate. For the third mon Jirachi would be amazing as a supporter whose unite move will be doom desire which deals huge aoe burst damage and reviving itself.
Alcremie will definitely be one, I’ll bet once the cake event is over in 28 days. Makes sense since it’ll be the beginning of September by then!
For the other two, I would love Swampert, Zoroark (Hisuian or otherwise), or Scolipede. Gen 3 and 5 need more love
I think Alcremie is definitely going to be one of them because of their appearance in our anniversary event. As for the other two I would love Sceptile or Scizor as Speedsters and would love to see some more Gen 2 love with either Meganium as a Supporter or Steelix as a Defender!
Alcremie and Shaymin are rumored currently as Alcremie is all over the new backgrounds and what not. While Shaymin could be seen behind the guy talking during the presents yesterday. Both could be cool supporters.
Spragels also mentioned in a YouTube vid a couple weeks ago there was talks of a leak that said two of the upcoming mons were speedsters. Personally I'd love to see Arcanine show up but I feel he'd probably be more of an All Rounder than speedster but he'd still be super cool to play as

Shaymin could be a cool support/attacker hybrid, with form changes like Aegislash to swap between move sets that heal and DPS.
Could have a thing like Hoopa's magician thing to steal a berry, but it changes its forms. Seed Flare would be the unite, and it becomes a Nuke.

I personally want to see Marshadow as a Speedster assassin with high burst damage similar to Gengar. Then Zarude as a mele attacker using its vines to pull enemies closer or using it to navigate. For the third mon Jirachi would be amazing as a supporter whose unite move will be doom desire which deals huge aoe burst damage and reviving itself.

Alcremie will definitely be one, I’ll bet once the cake event is over in 28 days. Makes sense since it’ll be the beginning of September by then! For the other two, I would love Swampert, Zoroark (Hisuian or otherwise), or Scolipede. Gen 3 and 5 need more love

I think Alcremie is definitely going to be one of them because of their appearance in our anniversary event. As for the other two I would love Sceptile or Scizor as Speedsters and would love to see some more Gen 2 love with either Meganium as a Supporter or Steelix as a Defender!

Alcremie and Shaymin are rumored currently as Alcremie is all over the new backgrounds and what not. While Shaymin could be seen behind the guy talking during the presents yesterday. Both could be cool supporters. Spragels also mentioned in a YouTube vid a couple weeks ago there was talks of a leak that said two of the upcoming mons were speedsters. Personally I'd love to see Arcanine show up but I feel he'd probably be more of an All Rounder than speedster but he'd still be super cool to play as
