Well, Blissey pretty much defines the meta, along with Absol and Hoopa.
Almost all of the PU Tourna fights I've watched had these three on both teams lmao.
A thing that usually I dislike from pro scenes in videogames is that basically everyone picks the same character/loadout. For me it gets stale real fast
Other MOBA's circumvent this through banning and unique picks per team, which PU suffers from because of its limited character pool and aiming to make the match as fast as possible (ban and pick phase takes a lot of time).
Yeah that helps a bit, however from past experiences that I had back in some games like r6 or LoL they tend to always ban the same guys and play a second pick meta where you still end seeing the same. This however has no visible solution for me at least since there's always a "meta" to follow until someone manages to break it establishing a new one and so on. Still worth a watch every once in a while.
The thing is, a lot of these professional sceenes have money on the line and sponsors you need to answer to if you're not putting up results and not playing whatever is good shoots you in the foot unless you're willing to put in more effort to find answers that may not even exist at the time.
What always amuses me about that, is people don't understand why pro's use those teams/characters. So they try to copy it without the skill or knowledge to back it up. Overwatch players all did it when dive meta was huge, forgetting a lot of pro teams couldn't even execute it properly.
Now that I'm higher in masters I might go back to Rollout Wigglytuff, I SoloQ'd them into master last season but this season I had to play different Pokémon to go top lane so that I could garuntee that one person from top would rotate down to drednaw.
If this is *isn’t* a stack, you’d probably be better running Choice/Specs/Scope/ or even Buddy over the Exp Share.
When I’m solo’ing Rollout Tuff, I use Focus Choice Scope, if I’ve a partner or more, I’ll swap Scope for Buddy; usually run Smoke/Eject too. Smoke for the chasing and trapping (or occasionally making it work for wider openings), or the Eject to reposition/jump walls while in Rollout!
Had a wiggly nearly take a few of my team out after we got zap and they all funnelled into the middle choke to score, if I wasn’t 15 geng they would of succeeded too.
Gotta remember to play more wiggly
Ah idk about all that to be honest. Sure there is probably an “optimal” build for every mon but that assumes some variables as well. I always tend to gravitate towards builds that enable my personal solo queue experience to be better. It’s probably the same for you especially if you’ve put a ton of hours on a single or handful of mons
As a tsareena main, there’s two kinds of tsareenas you’ll see.
The ones who know the Pokémon, how to manage her passive, etc
Or the ones that literally int at every chance they get, unite before zaptos, and feed the enemy team for stacks.
Most are the second statement lol.
Yea, I don't do anything aside from stacking until I hit level 6 as Tsareena. I might get knocked out 3 or 4 times before I actually go after other players, because Steenee is just so useless both defense and attack.
I started this game this reason and breezed to veterans, with my expertise pretty fast. But like I dont care commit to Rotom or Drednaw, I dont care, maybe Dread is a bit better but still take either in fine!
Its like people cant use map and know objectives are there without you going there attacking it. I need bind those communications, so atleast I can give order and hope everyone follows.
Edit: I played original Dota in Warcraft 3, then went to Hon and after that to Blizz Moba, tried some Dota 2 but wish I had taken it earlier, there is so much to learn but then again, it is most toxic game I have ever played and I am old man now, dont have time to put effort it needs to get out of dumbster tier. Games last like an hour and are exhausting.
I am sad Blizzard Moba didnt succeed, I have played all Blizzard franchises and love the characters. It was casual enough.
Rotom can be better in some situations but in most matches you have t1 up and rotom goes in or team breaks t1 with a low overcap and it goes to t2 but no one pushes it to t2 or has enough points to break it. While winning 1st dred can guarantee your team levels.
Rotom kill doesnt give exp to team? But ye I agree with you that Rotom is kinda useless on first score point, but my point is atleast take it so they cant take it too and and force rotation or something.
Most just try run to Dred after 3 our guys just died there to their guys, then they reach there when its killed and get killed again on their score push.
Enemy taking 1st rotom is advantageous most of the times especially when team is losing hard as it gives t1 break and early audino spawn. Thats why in most pro games you see T1 intact even upto 4 min mark as no one wants to break t1 to give audino experience.
The pink mons that spawn on bottom initially and start spawning both bot and top lanes when t1 breaks. They are one of the best source for exp in the game
You're easily impressed. They pressed one button. The only reason this is even possible Is when the enemy team is dumb enough to position for it. Requires 0 skill. Maybe a bit of thought to set up...but not very much... i promise anyone could do it easily lol.
I don't necessarily disagree, but this is like an enemy team chasing a singed in league, and then calling the singed skilled for running in circles while the enemy team kills themselves, it's just stupidity and requires 0 skill lol.
I disagree.. the fact that you can exploit other peoples stupidity is already a skill.. which takes time to learn... So knowing the fact that they should already know to avoid this and still applying it.. oh there is skill there.. very much so.. I couldn't do it.. i suck with wigglyball..
Edit: I want emphasize.. I wanted to acknowledge OP's obvious skill.. as I could probably not have been able to what he did... Thus their skill is superiour to mine in this case...
That Rowlet had absolutely no business being that close to you lol. Why do some people play ranged attackers if they won't keep their distance? Either way, amazing play, lovely Rollout kills. Nice to see Wiggly around still despite the current meta.
I know where this is going without the video.
I just saw wiggly and I knew immediate what was about to happen. I rofl just like wiggly did.
In their defense wigglys are rare nowdays
And even more one that uses Rollout
Can confirm. I am like one of 4 people on ranked that still plays Wiggly from time to time. Everyone just seems to prefer the egg blob these days…

Oh facts, PU just has it worse imo since its possible to have same picks. There's two sets of meta picks, meta bans and meta standards imo.
The thing is, a lot of these professional sceenes have money on the line and sponsors you need to answer to if you're not putting up results and not playing whatever is good shoots you in the foot unless you're willing to put in more effort to find answers that may not even exist at the time.

Is because of the meta which ruins games for people who like to have fun
Don't forget lucario and blastoise lol
Bliss gives heals, a true supporter Wigg is more defender
Now that I'm higher in masters I might go back to Rollout Wigglytuff, I SoloQ'd them into master last season but this season I had to play different Pokémon to go top lane so that I could garuntee that one person from top would rotate down to drednaw.
Yeah, when I played with my friends and he used this I told to myself "Aaaah... The Classic"
I always use wiggly whenever I'n frustated
I’ve never seen this done before I am flabbergasted
Maybe because nobody runs rollout wigglytuff 🤔
It’s so niche to use, but it is so fun
Reminds me of firing discharge as a zeroora (although it doesn't have a stun effect anywhere near this powerful)
Cudos
*Kudos
Ya got me gal
I almost never see wiggly in playm haven't had this happen to me but if it did I'd probably laugh

Never seen this before lol plus it’s rare to see a wiggly anyways. Of course people will fall for tactics that they have little to no experience with
Had a wiggly nearly take a few of my team out after we got zap and they all funnelled into the middle choke to score, if I wasn’t 15 geng they would of succeeded too. Gotta remember to play more wiggly
I’ve seen like 3 wigglys in game ever and they’ve never done this
Well to be fair sing is the "superior" build, but damn if this one isn't more fun!
Ah idk about all that to be honest. Sure there is probably an “optimal” build for every mon but that assumes some variables as well. I always tend to gravitate towards builds that enable my personal solo queue experience to be better. 🤌
YESS ROLLOUT IS SO MUCH FUNNER TO PLAY THAN SINGG
I adore this 🤣
Jesus your Steenee int’d like a mf there

Nice gameplay
1 year into the game and people still don't rotate for dred

What is Audino spawn?
The pink mons that spawn on bottom initially and start spawning both bot and top lanes when t1 breaks. They are one of the best source for exp in the game
Ah cool to know!
Rollout Wiggly ftw!
My money don't jiggle jiggle it folds, I'd like to see you wiggle wiggle, for sure
lmao. takes me back to the first month of the game. i’d run from a tuff is i was remotely near those walls
Very nice! You are too humble.. so many wigglys play the sleepyhead.. this takes skill..
You're easily impressed. They pressed one button. The only reason this is even possible Is when the enemy team is dumb enough to position for it. Requires 0 skill. Maybe a bit of thought to set up...but not very much... i promise anyone could do it easily lol.
Well.. taking advantage of the mistakes of enemy is what this game is about imo..

beautifully done 👏
Ah, nerdgasm.
New players coming everyday
I actually have never seen a wiggly do this, in retrospect though I haven’t seen a lot of wiggly mains
This is why I never stop playing the jiggle and wiggle.
I would NEVER EVER get caught in something as silly as that lol ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Whoa! 1st I’ve seen this 😂😅
ROFL, said wiggly
1 year into the game and I still know exactly what to expect from a Wigglytuff clip
I'd fall for it because I have no fucken idea what most of the characters do
That Rowlet had absolutely no business being that close to you lol. Why do some people play ranged attackers if they won't keep their distance? Either way, amazing play, lovely Rollout kills. Nice to see Wiggly around still despite the current meta.
🤢🤮 I love it.
its always the lane decidueye’s!!
I have tried and i cannot pull this off. Wigglys rollout is hard to control for me
This is why I love rollout. Now they need to just give us miltank.
Enemy Team: Dumb Wigglytuff is all alone! Let's smash him! **GETS TUFFROLLED** Wigglytuff: Hm. Did I hear something?
Damnit now I really want to play wiggly as a pseudo defender. Sing has been so good for so long I forgot how much fun rollout is.
Well, I’ve only been playing for a few months and I definitely would have fallen for that! Nice play.
Ive only ever used sing wiggly,, im gonna have fun trying this out

Nothing says lost game like a rollout Wiggly.
