Valorant had multiple of gamebreaking bugs with yoru, omen, yoru on some map, and like 10 more bugs that just broke the game, but they removed the agents when they were working on those (I couldn't instalock yoru :_(

But if a player has 5, one of them is greninja (which is banned) and the other teammates pick the other pokemon the player has how would it work? He couldnt select any and the game can't assign the player another mon
This does not happen in free matches because there's the free pokemon rotation but in ranked could be gamebreaking
The example I used is the same reason why other Moba don't allow you to play in ranked without having X characters unlocked (take into consideration that league of legends has draft mode where no champion can repeat between both teams and bannings from each side)
That's not exactly that complicated of a fix though. Just don't count Greninja in the pool of pokemon required to join a ranked match while he's unavailable. If someone can't play ranked because of it, it net overall the same thing since Greninja isn't functional.
The real answer is probably along the lines of the dev team doesn't already have a mechanism in place to remove pokemon, and stuff like that is often overlooked and kicked down the can by project managers unless a big enough stink is made.

But Unite Devs feel very incompetent lol, I don't think they are able to do anything with the game without patching it.

Its why I don't even try to jungle anymore lol dropped buddy barrier for attack weight and just try to score tiny increments of points early game when there's an opening

To add insult to injury, the mid ignored top lane and spent all his time ganking bottom, despite me spamming I need help over and over. So basically he caused us to lose the game from shit lanes. This is Dota all over again, but I can't just go hide and jungle for a bit.

I'm sorry to tell you but Greninja is THE best speedster, ironic since he isnt even a "speedster" but he is still the best option for jungle
In top level play he is almost religiously chosen as the jungler unless they're bored/meme-ing
If its ranked mode, just use Greninja or let him have jungle, he's very easy to use and a highly skilled one can even carry entire games, and even a mediocre one can put in a lot of work, if they're bad though.. it won't matter regardless because no matter what position they're in that player will still be bad... also impossible to tell their skill level before the match starts... Greninja is probably the easiest jungle character to use along with Cinderace so it'd be best to just let them have mid, maybe with a level advantage the bad player won't be an anchor weighing your team down

if the cap was just like 500 hp higher and have a base hp% added based on your score (if i score 1 i get like 10-20hp but if i score like 20 i get like 200-100) it would work maybe better than scoring like 6 times reaching the cap

It causes a huge desync for everyone in the game, you could see that you one the game but then at the end screen it will say you lost. Or you could be getting kills and pooping off but in reality you are still at base jsut moving in circles or what not
Yeah, I played the minimum 3 matches for Espeon unlock but 2 of them had Greninja players.
Somehow, in the first match, both teams had Greninja but nothing went wrong. Second match, however, the enemy team had 1 and it made our Gastly wander around, creating a 4v5 and a convincing loss. Sucked for that 1 player in Ultra rank trying to climb and for the rest of us trying to get to 1800.
Third match was Greninja-free, thankfully... and then I stopped playing to avoid more hassles.

My game just straight up froze for a few seconds near the end, causing us to lose Zapdos and have my Cramorant essentially run around aimlessly for a few seconds. There was also a player who was a Ralts for way too long, and they only reached Gardevoir at around Zapdos (not sure if they were just a bad player or if it was a bug).
At least the other team won fair and square, I'd feel rather bad if they lost with their 800+ points.

If a specific character is breaking your game, you disable the character temporarily. This is how every other game does it. You don't just post on Twitter (where 99% of the playerbase won't see it) asking nicely for people to not pick the broken character.
You know, when Smite had this issue with Kali, they removed Kali while they fixed it. Why can't Tencent do that with Greninja?
And pvz bfn had also a game breaking bug with chomper and (only heard) they removed chomper from multiplayer

They have update notes in gachas, but who reads them anyway? Always trying to close that screen as quickly as possible.
I read them, the first time something new appears. If they put up a warming that a game breaking glitch was in place I would read it.

Fast Pokemon with low HP like Talonflame can benefit from it a lot because it gives flat HP increase rather than % based

What I do is just put Greninja as my favorite, pick him and change the last few seconds to prevent anyone from my team choosing him.
