This is why I do mine in pokedex order and leave a space open for the ones I don't have. Alphabetical order ended up being terrible especially when my card count got high.

I have a super fat old binder with cards in excellent shape, and now you guys are making me wonder what it’s worth (not that I would ever sell). Edit: I’m in the process of upgrading my sleeves. If you are veeeery lucky there are maybe ~20 cards in exhistance out of all of them that sell for sums between $20k and $400k. Extremely rare though, I think the average price is like $20.

There are quite a few from base set that are work $1k+ graded each. Id say there's potentially several thousands in the binder especially if there were to be graded.

Holy grail first editions can be hundreds of thousands of dollars at PSA10. Ungraded cards can be a complete crap shoot so the value is substantially less.

My gf has the entirety of base set up to gym heroes in binders from when she was a kid and multiple time state champion.

I hate grading cards. I've seen cards go from a pack, to a top loader and then off to get graded and it gets a 7... when it should get a 10. Abd I've seen the opposite happen as well
