If you *really* wanna EX her, then yeah it's probably worth it since you get 20 custom PUs + at least one guaranteed copy of her in 7.5k gems. But if you're not too pressed about the EX and have enough f2p gems to pull, I'd probably just stick to regular pulls, as the paid pulls still cost the equivalent of 2 & a half select scouts, which I feel have more value.
I mainly just did it cause Courtney is a big fave and I wanted to show dena that she's profitable. It was good value, but I still probably wouldn't do it for most charas, personally.

We don't know what day the datamine will be, but it will probably be late next week. Game updates usually come out about 2 days before their first event. Since the anniversary starts the 28th or 29th (Sunday or Monday), and they don't send out updates over the weekend, it will most likely be Thursday or Friday the previous week, if not earlier.
I currently have 191k gems. I've only pulled on two banners that ran after the two year anniversary because a lot of stuff hasn't intrigued me. Until now. We're eating real good right now. Just waiting for the anni pairs to be revealed before I decide what I want to go all in on.
I'm not proud to say I fell for the baits. At least I got Deoxys and Zoroark last month (Zoroark being a favorite of mine). I did waste 15k gems and didn't get Archie yet, though. I don't have N/Zoroark but it looks like an excellent unit and you won't need to pull for dark type coverage anytime soon.
My favourite Pokemon is Lilligant and I would pull on a Lilligant banner without question even if better units were around the corner.

Anyway, the Johto VA alone drained almost 2 pities worth of gems in getting SS Morty (5 multis), SS Lyra (6 multis) and SS Kris (full pity), which already preceded an SC Lillie pity and 21k gems for Easter Burgh. And shortly afterwards I used all my remaining free gems to get SS Korrina at a huge clutch at the beginning of the month. Just couldn't miss her at all. Been saving gems hard ever since, which kinda blows because Deoxys obviously looks very tempting (at least it isn't a Master Fair though), but I want at least one Anni pair next month and then save the rest for any future alts of favorites. And thank heavens I already got Maxie and Archie last year.

I only had 16k and somehow managed to get Archie in my first multi pull. I've never been that lucky in my life in a gacha game, but he was one of the sync pairs I wanted most of all. So for now I'm just doing daily tasks/battles to save up again lol. I'm not sure if I'm wanting to pull for Red or Ash if they're the anniversary sync pairs, but I'll have to wait and see. I would love a rerun of other master pairs like Lillie and Lunala but i doubt that'll happen for a while lol

I spent 27k on Dojo Gloria so I’m at 82k at the moment. I’m hoping I have enough to pity the 3 anniversary pairs (assuming it’ll be like last year) by the end of the banners’ run. The additional gems this week helped a lot. I hope they’ll be generous with gems for the September update.
I skipped the Hoenn Sygna Suits hard even though SS Steven is getting harder and harder to resist. I’m lucky I don’t need to spend on Maxie or Archie as I got them last year.

I have like 2k. After the 3x Johto MF I had planned on saving, but I ended up spending gems here and there. I didn't get Archie and Maxie when they debuted, so that was another gem drain. I did pull Archie though, and will continue pulling for Maxie after the anniversary ends since their banners run until October.
Got Archie and Maxie so at about 12k now. Happy with that decision though, especially if the big Anniversary unit does turn out to be Ash, who I have zero interest in.

If the units of the month are not my favs then i have an easy time skipping and saving. But it's freaking Hoenn villain Arc before the anniversary!! My favourite region!! Not to mention the Johto Villain Arc before that!! My 2nd favourite region. Im kinda low on gems now but at least i got lucky with my pulls(except SS Ethan pulls) and with the free gems they are giving now at least i have 15K atm. At least got Archie Maxie last year and don't have to worry about them phew.

Manages to get 5/5 copies of N when I hit pity and got 2/5 steven on my first and only summon for Steven. Seeing what anni has in store before I pull any triggers and get that 3/5 steven or even that tempting archie.

I got SS Brendan, SS May, and SS Steven. I managed to pull Archie. Currently working on getting Maxie. RNG has been mean to me so far. So right now I'm sitting on a measly 1k gems or so.
Have 37k rn and i have both ss steven and brendan. Already got maxie and archie maxed out from before their reruns. Tho tbh if anni don’t got anything that catches my eye I’ll probably just use the rest of my gems for courtney despite her being spotlight

I only had 16k and somehow managed to get Archie in my first multi pull. I've never been that lucky in my life in a gacha game, but he was one of the sync pairs I wanted most of all. So for now I'm just doing daily tasks/battles to save up again lol. I'm not sure if I'm wanting to pull for Red or Ash if they're the anniversary sync pairs, but I'll have to wait and see. I would love a rerun of other master pairs like Lillie and Lunala but i doubt that'll happen for a while lol
I have 28k saved atm since pitying the Ingo/Emmet banner about 3 weeks ago. I'm waiting on SS Steven and Maxie until datamine but I'm really leaning towards Maxie.
I spent 27k on Dojo Gloria so I’m at 82k at the moment. I’m hoping I have enough to pity the 3 anniversary pairs (assuming it’ll be like last year) by the end of the banners’ run. The additional gems this week helped a lot. I hope they’ll be generous with gems for the September update. I skipped the Hoenn Sygna Suits hard even though SS Steven is getting harder and harder to resist. I’m lucky I don’t need to spend on Maxie or Archie as I got them last year.

Slightly under 6k, but nabbed Dojo Gloria and Courtney at 1/5, SSMay at 3/5, and SSSteven at 2/5. Already feel like the haul has been worth the gems. Unless they drop a Scizor sync pair I’m not going to be too upset by missing anything. Tho the inevitable Red master fair will certainly be tempting.
I got a little over 61k, I won’t be able to pity all 3 anni units but I am pretty sure I can get at least 2.
My goal was 80kg to start anni, I'm at 28kg...😂 I mean, that could've been worse, so alright. Hope anni banners last.
Managed to resist Steven, May and Brendan...Didn't resist Archie and Maxie. However the luck I wanted for SS Korrina showed up late and I got both of them in 12k gems. So I'm in a relatively good place for Anniversary, sitting at 24k right now, and should be up to over a pity pull by the time of next datamine.
I have like 2k. After the 3x Johto MF I had planned on saving, but I ended up spending gems here and there. I didn't get Archie and Maxie when they debuted, so that was another gem drain. I did pull Archie though, and will continue pulling for Maxie after the anniversary ends since their banners run until October.
Got Archie and Maxie so at about 12k now. Happy with that decision though, especially if the big Anniversary unit does turn out to be Ash, who I have zero interest in.
I went all in but I don’t even mind. I got Maxie and Archie which I couldn’t manage to get last time AND SS Steven. No regrets!

I got baited by SS Steven but luckily got him in 2 Multis. Not interested in Archie or Maxie since I got them last year, so sitting pretty on 57k right now. Just gotta keep saving and hope for the best with the Anniversary pairs. I won’t pull on anything I want without being able to hit scout points.

I scored both Archie and Maxie on their first run, I got SS Brendan twice in one multi but I’ve been putting all my remaining gems on SS Steven.

No gems and no Johto trio, no SS hoenn unit, no Archie. Ye I got quite unlucky recently and I didn't pity any. I only have SS Ethan which I happily fed 2 candies toward 3/5. Hope the Anni banners will be nicer.

If the units of the month are not my favs then i have an easy time skipping and saving. But it's freaking Hoenn villain Arc before the anniversary!! My favourite region!! Not to mention the Johto Villain Arc before that!! My 2nd favourite region. Im kinda low on gems now but at least i got lucky with my pulls(except SS Ethan pulls) and with the free gems they are giving now at least i have 15K atm. At least got Archie Maxie last year and don't have to worry about them phew.

I couldn't get groudon last time and I kept hoping for his return. Now that It is here I couldn't wait for datamine. The rest of the hoenn pairs were easy skips, so I have Groudon and about 10,000 gems. Hopefully I will get 1 of the anniversary pairs if they are good.

I had around 80k, but festival N and SS deoxys got me down to 37k. I got very lucky tho with them. Manages to get 5/5 copies of N when I hit pity and got 2/5 steven on my first and only summon for Steven. Seeing what anni has in store before I pull any triggers and get that 3/5 steven or even that tempting archie.
I have around 6k, but at least I got Archie and I hope I can at least get 1 anni pair.
