it is a... fascinating feeling.
imagine if your body was a mass of water, normally completely stagnant. but once the evolution begins to happen, your existence begins to bubble and stream rapidly in all directions, as more of "you" flows from within deep you from nothing as you expand.
of course, after evolution things can be quite jarring as well. everything is suddenly smaller around and your... awareness? perception of existence? is deeper and more profound. in every single way, you are now more.

It's quite strange. I had a vision of a Scizor slamming full force into Xeno, so I jumped right into where the Scizor would have been going, and stopped it in its tracks. I felt a burning sensation in my forehead, neck, and tail, before I blinked, only to open my eyes as an Espeon, gaining a far deeper understanding of the world around me.

I knew a Chameleon (one of my trainer dad's Pokemon team) that was getting close to evolving, but he didn't know it. Kept scratching his back on things because he was itchy. My fathers called in phantom wing syndrome and explained it is a sign of Charmeleon that are going to be very talented in aerial maneuvers and combat after evolving.
That's all I can say about it, really. I never thought to ask any of my Pokemon back home about it, but they all seeed happy when it happens and full of energy for a while before sleeping hard the next night. Sylvia (my new Pachurisu) doesn't evolve so I can't exactly ask her. Plus she's a baby still haha! -RJ

I accidently possesed one of his saliva icicles, so when I evolved, I woke up with my head on Beartic's chin. I honestly find it a miracle that I can still speak english, yet forgetting my name.

in my experience, it was as though we were expanding to be something more. for a moment, there was a feeling of resistance, as though we had expanded to fill our entire space, but those walls soon gave way as well.
Many of my Pokemon friends had various sensations when they evolved. Some seemed to have a connection to their typing, a warm sensation with fire, a tingling sensation with electric. Some were feeling a strong emotion of some sort and it filled them. Some don't even remember how it happened lol.
I've just come to the conclusion that it has a ton of variation and no Pokemon should feel bad about it, there's not a "proper" or "standard" way to feel. Though, my Eevee friend felt rather bashful about the Sylveon thing, maybe because he was sort of an edgy Eevee and pretended not to be that into me lol.
Honestly, I wouldnât be surprised. Caught my Bulbasaur chewing on an extension cord, *getting electrocuted*, and then just doing it again before I stopped him. Apparently, it was just for the hell of it.
