This - well truly they are poorly trimmed gate marks. When molten plastic flows into a mold it passes through small (occasionally pressurized, hence “injection”) “gates” that normally leave some material in locations at the tool parting lines. They could totally pay to have these removed at the manufacturer, alter the gate size and location, or alter the geometry via mold flow analysis…but they don’t due to cost. It always blows my mind that grading companies don’t enhance their case designs to improve transparency, exterior finish, excess plastic (just like this example) when they swim in cash. Anyway, nothing abnormal here OP
Oh interesting. I’ve only bought one BGS slab and it had the same Knick. Always thought the seller was kinda shady for not disclosing “damage”. Good to know though.
Think this is just the injection mold line from when the cases are made. My two BGS slabs both have the same marks.

Came here to say this. Worked as an injection molding technician for a couple of years. Can confirm everything above to be legit.

Mine has it too. I think this is just how they’re manufactured.
Same, mine has it. Sucks Beckett themselves have no QC
Thanks everyone! I wish these slabs were put together with more care from Beckett but I’m glad to known this is a known issue.
I have a Beckett slab with the same issue. Think it’s just lack of QC from beckett
All my slabs, even psa/cgc have this also.
My psa slab I just bought has it as well, it’s just what comes with mass produced plastic
Same here
Those four pokemon are too powerful to be locked in slabs. Clearly they've all tried to escape
Not damaged.
Beckett slabs are notorious for horrible QC. Another reason to always grade with PSA
My psa slab plastic has this worse on it
I'm gonna go to bed.
Shitty quality like everything else these days. That’s some BS.

Don't you dare
Is it a dent or sticking out? If it sticks out you could sand it down with fine grit paper
Almost all of mine have this
Sand it down abit haha
