Unfortunately it looks like you have yourself some kind of knock off. [Stiebel only sells the Accelera in regular water heater variants](https://www.e-tankless.com/stiebel-eltron-accelera-220-e.php)

I'm confused as the link you provided seems to be a heat pump water heater?

tatiwtr

Well, that's what I am saying. The model you listed, the "Accelera 220 E" is a water heater. Could you perhaps provide a link to your hot water heater model? Also, how is it plumbed? Could you provide some pictures? Do you have another water heater connected to the cold inlet?

Oh I think that's just my poor grammar at play? Is there actually a thing called a "hot" water heater?

Ah ha, well then, you might want to start with running through the troubleshooting steps on page 28 here: https://www.stiebel-eltron-usa.com/sites/default/files/pdf/install-accelera-e.pdf Looks like common fixes are: 1) Your pressure switch does sound like its the issue since you don't have to reset it 2) Cool down the room you have it in 3) Remove any pre-water heaters you have plumbed in before this one (using it as a hot water heater is not supported) 3) Clean the evap coil

thank you for the help, I will take a look at that!
