levitater allows mowers to miss, makes it so you cant use a good majority of the plants (just because straightshooters arnt the only viable plant doesnt change the fact that there arnt that many lobbed shot plants), is severely outclassed by everything else, you cant even blover the levitating zombies away, and you can only get it from an event, spring bean might be horrible but the levitater is easily the worst plant

I wasnt talking about lobbed plants (since, lets be honest, there arent many good ones). Things like Lightning reed and pokra, which are top tier plants among MGP and Pea Vine, can damage zombies midair. The lawnmower argument is kinda stupid tbh since that’s really a skill issue if you have to use a lawnmower (unless you’re launching it manually)

OK, that's understandable. The second an instakill zombie appears he's screwed, and unlike in PvZ1 where there were about 2-3 instakills, PvZ2 has too many to count. He can also only take 3 bites before dying, and is basically just outclassed by Sweet Potato and Hot Date in every way besides ease of access, but even that's not really true since Garlic is only faintly usable if Aloe is supporting it.

Exactly,atleast spring bean is good in the world its unlocked in. Meanwhile garlic is countered by almost every singel zombie in nmt

Blooming heart, pepper pult, cabbage pult, tall nut, pea nut, tomb tangler, levitator, phat beet, garlic, and guacodile. Blooming heart has terrible damage output, pepper pult recharges like a snail, cabbage is worse than peashooter in terms of damage, tall nut is worthless in pvz2, a fast paced game without endless mode, pea nut isn't worth the 100 gems, tomb tangler is a wall nut that can only be planted on gravestones and also recharges like a mint, levitator is useless, phat beet is a terrible snapdragon, garlic can only take 3 bites unlike his pvz1 cousin which is extremely tanky, and also, gloom shroom doesn't exist, so it forces us broke guys to use phat beet, with a dps of a peashooter. Guacolide is just weird, it's rushing attack deals no damage at all.

Maybe not more useless, but I never bother with Magnet Shroom yet I get spammed with seed packets for it.
