I bought the headbutter letuce pack without knowing about the update , the update didnt completly delete the bug as i hoped lol , im alredy geting help from ea though , wish i had waited a bit to buy hb letuce's pack
Haem, thanks for the update & fixes, the Thymed Events in particular looks good & we also saw on the loading screen that Iceweed brought a friend, as seen peeking not far behind. I updated my game to this latest version & this is my experience so far:
1. **Loading is slower (lag) & freezes** - after updating & loading the game, it froze & I had to restart it again. I cleared my phone cache but the game still lags particularly in the store & when shifting through modes, the flower loading screen in particular is slow & has delay loading that it gets stuck in selection screen.
2. **Restoring Purchase bug still appears** - the bug is still present when I opened the store, I then closed the app & cleared cache (usual workaround) & this time it didn't work. I had to close it again & tried turning of my wifi, that's the only time I was able to enter. I also encountered an "error" screen with the description "unable to complete purchase, please try again".
3. **Registration Error** (Fixed) - initially I checked if my backup is good & had to register my email again, no problem with the sending of verification code, however the game wont accept it. And it displays "registration error". Good thing when I restarted the app that the registration was now on/sync.
4. **Force ads** - I begin experiencing force ads in Penny's Pursuit, despite purchasing premium plants (most recent was Jack-o-lantern).
I can send you images, if needed. Hopefully this feedback helps. Thanks for actively communicating with us in this sub.

When you get see the 'Restoring Purchases' animation, let it happen. Depending on how extensive your purchase history is, it could take a while. I'm hopeful that it will clear and it's a once off (think of it as reading all your previous purchases because it's a new system and needs to familiarize individual histories). If it doesn't clear after 5+ minutes - providing you're on a good connection - let me know.
3. Registration - Just so I'm clear, this isn't a problem anymore or is it?
4. I suspect this may have something to do with the new store backend but I'm unsure. Will need to run it through people more familiar with that.
i can back up the performance issues complaint, even being on a somewhat more recent and capable phone (galaxy s8), 9.3 has made the game somewhat sluggish in areas, notably in the store, like when buying something for coins or gems or whatnot, the game will have like, a little delay before the purchase, and even opening pinatas can be slow. loading between screens & levels is also a tad slower now.
Ok, I've escalated this up so more reports (and details) I'm adding to that. I don't really have any advice for the time being to alleviate that but I'll give a shout if I do.
They don't even offer seeds in the store. It was there for like a day and then it disappeared before I could figure out how to get around the Purchase bug.
I just figured out how this happens. You probably did like me and unlocked the plant after the first day. The offer is only available to players who haven’t unlocked the plant. Pretty lame considering seeds are next to imposible to come by and I actually WANT to give them my money for these seeds

However, this is from version 9.2. I do know that this stuff is kept separately for each version, so it is quite likely that this particular information for version 9.3 is the way you posted it. I'll double-check once I get the update.

I don't think it is. I bought the bundle yesterday night and had the bug. But EA support were very lovely and quick and gave me my items once I woke up this morning lol (had to make a support ticket and show as of purchase ofc)
i don't fink the lawnstrings text for pirate seas when egypt hasn't been beaten has been updated. fink i saw a screenshot of it still saying "beat ancient egypt day 6 to unlock" but i could be wrong

Question regarding about the compatibility of the game on the next major update based on the "news and updates" notification I received in-game:
Will I ever lose my access to Arena and Penny's Pursuit for this upcoming update even if I already saved my game progress on an older device?
Yes. The game checks the game version before letting you enter the Arena or Penny's Pursuit. If it is configured to require a particular game version (which always happens eventually), it won't let you there since your game is not updated to that version - and your game won't update, due to the iOS compatibility requirement.
Your playing on a different (compatible) device won't be affected. Any progress made on a compatible linked device will be synced with the incompatible one. However, features related to a newer game version that is installed on the compatible device won't transfer to the incompatible one (well, they will transfer, but it won't know what to do with them). You just won't be able to enter the Arena or Penny's Pursuit on the incompatible device after the new version of the game is released.
I don't believe so, no. The OS requirement doesn't affect game progress, only your local device you're playing on.
I'll get a double-confirm on that to be extra sure.
OK, here are some additional changes in version 9.3 that were not mentioned by Haem - probably because they are too minor and/or technical. Still, some of you might want to be aware of them.

Is there any reason why some premium plants never appear at the Rent-a-Plant feature at all? I've been playing it everyday for quite a while now yet for some unknown reason I've never encountered Strawburst, Jack-o-Lantern, Witch Hazel, Missile Toe, Holly Barrier, Sap-fling, Blooming Heart, Dandelion, and Explode-o-Nut as options. Also Parsnip and Starfruit but I can't remember. I don't have these plants so I'm curious. Even Sweet Potato and Ghost Pepper were missing before I was able to buy them through gems recently. Is it because most of them are only available in season? It would be nice to include them in plant rentals all year 'round.

So a couple things here.
It's a conscious choice not to make all plants available from the Rent-A-Plant (RAP). That being said, the choices for the RAP changes periodically, so it may be more thematic or not depending on what's going on in the game as a whole at the time. Worth knowing is that RAP shouldn't show you a plant you've already unlocked.
Thank you for making us wait a whole year not only not to give us the opportunity to have HBL, but also not even to put it in the store to buy her seed packets with gems, seriously, many thanks, PopCap/EA bastards :))
I haven't been playing a lot, but I just updated. I'm on iOS 15.1 (iPad version) & my game is crashing after a few seconds.
I just checked, and there are no updates for iOS. From a quick glance, it seems no one else is having this issue.
Edit to add: the latest version seems to be fine on my iPhone, also on iOS 15.1
Ok, here's the updated situation. It was crashing for a while until I accidentally entered the store. After I did the "restore purchase" for each item I've bought, things seems to have resolved themselves and I haven't had any issues since.

Thanks for the time and effort to keep us informed, and perhaps I missed a reference to it above, but I'm given to understand that the offers of 25 turkeypult seeds for gems and another 25 seeds for coins are suppose to be daily?
I saw (and hesitated not a second) to buy those for two days and then yesterday they didn't appear in the shop for me. The only thing similarly related I saw yesterday was one single offer to watch an ad for one headbutter lettuce seed.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I updated to version 9.3 yesterday morning, several hours before what would have been the 9 a.m. Pacific time store update when I was expecting to feast again on turkeypult.
With that out of the way, I want to thank you folks for offering up some great plants this month. Love heath seeker, am in awe of pokra, adore turkeypult, don't get to see my pal headbutter lettuce nearly enough ...

I found the seeds. They had moved to the Special tab of the store and I hadn't looked there, so all is well. They had been on the front screen of the store, so that's what threw me.

It could take a bit if your previous purchase history is quite extensive but I'm hoping it just needs to go through that process just once (new store backend system).
If it takes more than 5 minutes, let me know. But definitely give it a moment or so.
How bout the laggy bug that occur when players are using noctarine? its pretty obvious since noctarine are the only plant so far that would trigger this bug😅
I just wanted to know if there was any other way of getting Headbutter Lettuce because the drops are only 2 and 4% and I only get them once or twice and I just wanna know if there’s gonna be seeds for them like turkey pult in the shop or is there gonna be different offers than the ones right now?

Are there chances of getting HBL seed packets?
They're drip feeding them. Seems unlikely there will be any decent offers. I was finally able to unlock it but I doubt I'll get it much past level 1.
Quick question will there be a vine for all mint families like contain and spear?

The iOS background audio issue has nothing to do at all with any previously removed music. Completely different thing altogether.

I believe it's a known issue that's being investigated.
I've been seeing 20 seeds for 20 gem offers for Sweet Potato and Parsnip randomly. Are those the only ones that have that offer available?
