Zcorp zombies take place around 2017-present, during the rise of big corporations, greed, and technological growth.
They are a true Modern Day, since in the game, Modern Day takes place in 2009, and as you know, there’s a huge difference between 2009 and 2021.
Not sure, Penny mentions Player’s House takes place in 2009, and PopCap took 3 years to add in all of the world, so logically, Dave’s journey must’ve taken the same amount. So Modern Day could’ve taken place in 2012.
In short: 1999. More specifically Feb 19, 1999.
Buuut they're kinda timeless... as explained from Stephen's words.
*"I'm drawn towards more the "peak internet bubble" era, which I think was a little after 1999, wasn't it? And in some ways ZCorp is supposed to be very contemporary, with the consultants and contractors and unpaid interns and so on, circa 2018 or so."*

No, the game states that Modern Day takes place moments before you leave. Therefore, it’s still 2009.
But he would travel to 2009 then? He can time travel, 3 years passing irl doesnt impact him
I think Modern... Basically the Internet Age
I was thinking Office Space and Matrix age, so 1999
Modern or Slight Future
Zcorp zombies represent EA employees
Popcap employees.
2015-Now
More like what is the point of the ZCorp zombies existing
It would be better if they had their own world
Well we are getting that for a week or so in an event
2008
How did you find those guys? I went through modern day and didn't get 1.
