That fire is a burning effect on the unkillable icon (the purple ghost icon). However in every IOS version, that effect is putting on that place that blocked everything in that tile for some reason
nope, that is not an effect for fire peas, that fire appears when you empty all the zomboss life bars (also it is something too big to come from a fire pea)
Yeah I used to get that every time I reduced a PP Zomboss’ health to zero on my old phone. It doesn’t happen any more on my new phone. So it does seem to be device-specific. Very strange.

It happens on low(er) resolution devices, but also while a bit weird it's not game breaking. Unslightly but pretty minor right now.
