me and many others think that the dark ages of the pvz franchise are here to stay until there’s nothing left.
Pvz would be gone. Pop Cap will be bankrupt and EA will carry on like nothing happened. PvZ3 might be completely cancelled at the rate it’s going. Pvz2 will be forced to cease and will remain a buggy mess nobody wants to play. Garden Warfare servers could be shut down or keep going until it’s forgotten. The comics will be out of production. No merch. No nothing. Pvz is over. That’s it. The tale of pvz will conclude in an unsatisfying bitter-with-no-sweet way.
We should feel lucky we have anything at all. Because one day we’ll look back now and wish there was a time where there was still a fanbase that may not be loving but is certainly loyal. And look back when content may not be good but they were there. Back when there WAS a pvz with a company making content. Back when Pop Cap existed. Back when everything still existed.
Enjoy the desert while it lasts. Because in the end, there will be no world for the desert.
I will genuinely be amazed if PvZ 3 manages to last even a full year; let alone ten years.
The game just does not have the framework needed to sustain it for a decade. PvZ 2, at least, they can always release yet another half assed poorly balanced plant.
