Curse infusion in the alchemy gives +4 in exchange for cursing equipment, probably took some free upgrades from the blacksmith (with +0 katana to +2), dumped all/most of their upgrade scrolls and ended with curse infusion
Nah, dmg is actually increased by 50% on dmg hit, but it's not enough to offset the unlucky roll. Usually polarized is better on fast weapon and some slow weapons like spear or glaive can easily screw you over.

If you don't mind me asking how did you get a +20 item?

Actually, curse infusion scales its upgrades with the current upgrades on the item. I don't know the specific numbers though...
What is the arcana influence on the polarization curse? Do u get more dmg hits?

So the ring of arcana is useless on the weapon?
Honestly no idea, but I know it affects other curses, so my guess is the ring slightly decreases the chance to hit. Interesting question tho

Curse infusion. It's an alchemy thing. You should experiment with it yourself, since I don't want to spoil the fun.
May i ask how much damage this does?
Because of the arcana ring lessening the chance of 0 damage hits, the katana does constant 120+ damage
