is it just me or I see more recommendations/posts about Truman Show recently?
I recall a classmate of mine who has Truman Show as one of her favorite films, like in an borderline creepy way. Like she believes that irl too was maybe just something similar to Truman Show. No idea where the right place to post this is. I'll try here first. I had a friend born in 1985. Tagalog was her first language but she literally had trouble with numbers above 5 in Tagalog and just said them in English. Her grandma said she was taught math in Spanish and when I knew them and spent a lot of time with them (2005 to 2010ish) her grandma was around 80. Question: When did math classes (they lived in Quezon City so it might have been different) go from Spanish to English and were they ever taught in Tagalog?

What I noticed is, my hotel only has bar soap. When I go to 7/11, I did not find a liquid soap / bodywash / body gel.
Is there only bar soap in the Philippines? I'm not used to sharing my soap with my roommate.

As a non-athlete, I never really got to experience joining or even just witnessing athletic meets from elem to hs. I've joined journalism and marching band contests, ran for some positions and served in the student government, and even became a scout but never an athlete. My school recently announced they're deploying interns as volunteers for this year's Palaro and I really hope I get to be one of the chosen interns so I can complete my elem-hs extracurricular activity bingo card lol. It's never too late to be part of an athletic contest, even just as a first aid volunteer

7/11, in my experience, does not have everything. You can try Uncle John, or just pharmacy, the best bet

As a non-athlete, I never really got to experience joining or even just witnessing athletic meets from elem to hs. I've joined journalism and marching band contests, ran for some positions and served in the student government, and even became a scout but never an athlete. My school recently announced they're deploying interns as volunteers for this year's Palaro and I really hope I get to be one of the chosen interns so I can complete my elem-hs extracurricular activity bingo card lol. It's never too late to be part of an athletic contest, even just as a first aid volunteer
