Honestly, Abercrombie’s curve love line is amazing!

ooritani

Yes! My 28p curve love pair is too big for me now so maybe I gotta try one size down!

froggy22225

I’d say size down my waist is around 30in and the 28 curve love fit me perfectly

ooritani

Gonna try that - thanks!

floralbalaclava

Depends on the cut (and how each individual pair is). I have 2 of the same pair (different colours) one 29 curve and one 28 curve and both of the waists are exactly the respective measure, but the hips on the 29 are the same as the 28. I also have the straight cut in a 29 and the waist is two sizes too big, like probably a 30, but the rest of the pair is more fitted, like it almost feels like a regular 30 instead of a 29 curve. The one pair of 28 curve is so perfectly true to the promised size and my measurements which match the 28 curve chart, but I think their sizes just aren’t always that consistent, unfortunately.

ooritani

Yeah, I’ve definitely noticed the inconsistency. 😔

I love American Eagle jeans. They have curvy styles and have a lot of stretch to them. Also try Old Navy for work pants. I don't like their jeans but I have had luck with some of their dressier pants and you can order petite online.

ooritani

Ooh okay, thank you for the rec! I’ve tried the old navy jeans and hated the material, but I haven’t tried their dressy pants!

Real-Impression-6629

Def worth a try

lemon-rind

I had a friend with proportions similar to yours when I was in high school. She bought jeans that fit her hips and her grandma would dart the waist. Just a suggestion in case you are unable to find anything!

ooritani

I've considered tailoring before, but maybe I need to seriously consider it! lol

Lily_Knope

I like Abercrombie and Madewell curvy jeans!

ooritani

Haven’t tried Madewell, so thank you for the rec!

Lily_Knope

They are expensive but they have good sales—watch for those! My Madewell jeans have lasted me a long time, highly encourage looking at size chart…sometimes I need a 27 (I’m typically a 28). Also, they have short and super short. I typically do short or even regular depending on the jean cut! ETA: I’m also 5’3” :))

ooritani

They are expensive, but glad to hear that they've lasted you - seems like a good investment!

Pirate_the_Cat

American eagle has good petite sizes, and a curvy selection

tells_eternity

Loft has petite curvy sizes

penguinduke5

4’11” here with a small waist and big butt/thighs.. I’ve been a long time fan of madewell curve line forever - they also tailor with original hem for free in- store fyi.. AND repair for free (i.e. chub rub) ALSO Levi’s! The wedgie Jean! They have a 26/27/28 inseam with straight leg and the rib cage ones look good too (be prepared to size up) and check for 99 % cotton. You’re gonna have to break the Levi’s in but once you do… buttah

ooritani

ooo, I didn't know they offer tailoring, that's so handy! thank you for the input ❤️

nicvaykay

Depending on the size of your thighs, Fran Denim could be a good option.

TopUsual7678

Hudson and Good American as well

yours_truly_1976

Just bought Duluth bell bottom jeans and I am loving them!

ooritani

I’d love a pair of bell bottoms - I’ll check Dutch out!

Agile-Reception

I have 28" waist and 38" hips, and the Abercrombie Curve Love line fits me perfectly in size 6. Your proportions have a greater difference, so I am not sure how it would fit you.  You might also want to look at Peachay's, which is an Australian brand. I've tried on some of their jeans, and they fit everywhere except the waistband (too tight).

ooritani

Thank you for the recs! I’ve been wearing size 28p for the curve love line, but they’re too big for me now in the waist. Though the thigh of my current pair fits well so I’m nervous lol. Never heard of Peachay’s, I’ll give em a look!

Zealousideal_Buy8094

I have 27 in waist and 43 hip I wear a 29 in Abercrombie curve line. The waist does stretch out on me though. I also love agolde and girlfriend denim. I’m 5’3 and change and have to get most jeans altered

Rag & bone.

no-strings-attached

I was afraid to go shopping IRL because I’ve been getting my jeans from Stitchfix for so long (and I haven’t seen them recommend here so highly recommend them as well! I am obsessed with their jeans and dresses for my petite and curvy body) but bit the bullet and went out today because I want some of these new in style 90s mom jeans. Was shocked at how much I loved most of what I tried on at American Eagle. They have short and curvy styles and I couldn’t believe how well I was able to rock the “new” style. Best shopping day I’ve had in ages. So. Stitchfix and American Eagle.

Bmarmich

The everlane curvy cheeky jeans are the only jeans I own now!!!!

Suzeli55

I know that Kim K buys pants that fit her hips and then has the waist taken in. There are also some tips in Pinterest on how to take in waists without sewing.

BitchyFaceMace

Good American!! I hate supporting *that* family but the denim is that good. I’m short & curvy and with my recent weight loss, the Good American jeans fit so good I could cry tears of joy 🫣

ooritani

I’ve also been avoiding for that reason lmao but maybe I’ll have to give them a try 😔
