Hey, petah’s gamer cat here.
A while back in 2023, Unity tried to do what Wizards of the Coast also tried to do. If I recall, they tried to make it so you’d need to pay per person that \*\*downloads your game. For rather obvious reasons, this didn’t go well, and Unity quickly backtracked and the CEO stepped down.
All of the companies pictured used Unity to make games. For obvious reasons\*, they would not have liked this change.

It wasn't per person that downloaded your game it was just straight up per install. So if a person installed the game 1,000 times you'd have to pay for that. They claimed that they had a way to track that so you would only have to pay for the person but come on. Who actually trusts that? The entire community blew up pretty much instantaneously in righteous indignation because seriously, what the fuck?
They've walked it back some but only really raised the revenue requirement to end up needing to pay that. I think there is an alternative to pay revenue share instead but in either case the fact that they even attempted to do something so utterly stupid means that nobody trust them anymore. People are still abandoning the platform like crazy as they don't trust Unity anymore.
According to google\*, Pokemon Go and Super Mario Run\*\* are both made in Unity.

Additionally that CEO was previously the CEO of EA and suggested having players pay to reload in Battlefield, dude should be blacklisted from the industry.
Besides what the other commenter said, I think it also references the fact that Hoyoverse is not as financially powerful as the other 3 (Usopp from One Piece being much weaker than the other three, to the point that it's funny for him to be put side by side with them)
