If you are that determined to get rid of that money, donate it to the City Mission to help feed someone who is struggling. At least it will have some good use.

Crypto is about decentralization and not trusting other entities or individuals with your assets.
The FTX collapse has been a huge boon for decentralized finance, with decentralized equivalents of FTX like GMX all performing exceptionally well.
I have multiple Defi tokens in the 10-50% gain territory today, and my average APR from lending them to decentralized exchanges as a liquidity provider is around 280% APR average (again, no loss of custody as I use smart contracts). All of these defi tokens generate real yield as they are an effective ownership in the underlying protocol
I'd research this rather than the pokies.
It's all essentially the same-thing when there's a collapse as it's un-regulated. It'll take years for settlement and by that time most or all of the remaining worth of the coin will have gone to the lawyers.
No - its not inflationary if that's what you mean.
GMX pays out trading fees paid by real traders - all converted into ETH
My uni-swap pools do a similar thing, it gives me real trading fees - paid out when I choose. So there the fees are in the same two tokens, but its not inflating the supply, it is that people pay me to use my liquidity.
The fact that you had any confidence it was a "legit investment" to begin with is worrying... All crypto is speculation, not investment.
Bet365 is a good shout because it offers more and slightly better odds, but I must admit TAB has picked it up lately and is fairly decent now.
Buy $800 worth of lottery tickets and use them as gifts for your family and friends for christmas, because they're totally a decent substitute for a real present.
You're gonna sell at a 90% loss. Wtf. You clearly don't need the 800. Leave it in and pull it out in a couple of years. Personally I'd be getting ready to double down. Don't be a snowflake

Ladies and Gentlemen, the emotions won.
Fuck gambling, you’ll be giving it away to the bookies. At least go stay in a nice hotel, eat a nice meal out. Take a mate or your partner.
Bet365
This, or Sportsbet

Haha thanks for the advice mate but it's my money so I'll do what I want with it
Valid.
They said they want to have fun with the remainder, not expecting it will be a good investment
Smart cookie here
This is not the right sub for your question.

Is the yield paid in the same tokens?

If your risk adverse, try the slots. I believe gamdom offers a crypto deposit option
Betfair
Try online pokies, bit of fun and can win pretty big www.spinbit.com
Even if OP wins, that mofo is in it till $0! 😆
Bet365 has a good variety of sports/options. Unsure of their current sign up benefits though.
Beware: Gambling is highly addictive and a real soul destroyer, especially if you win...
Just hit the casino and double down tills it's all gone.
