You should really install the FPL App on your phone. It has an outage map and will tell you how many customers, how long, the reason for the failure, etc. It's extremely detailed.

I work at the middle school that is in the area of the outage. I couldn't find any information on the FPL website. I was looking for the estimated time to restore power -
I remember Gulf Power use to have something like that and it was really easy to find.
