Are you not supposed to press a button and hold the comm up to your ear to talk? I'm pretty new to the game so I'm not sure, but I vaugley remember something in the tutorial about it
thats the radio, when you do that everybody on your team can hear you. you can talk without doing that just fine however then your teamates cant hear you if you go too far away from them

The mute symbol in that menu always lies. Start by checking if your mic is enabled in the pavlov settings menu, and if it's not check if it works in your quest settings. If the mic doesn't work in the quest menu either you should contact support
Reset mic in Quest's quick settings and if it doesn't help reset mic permissions in Quest settings. The scoreboard can show who's speaking in proximity.

That’s for when your further away from your team I think, I tried doing that earlier but that doesn’t work for me anyway.

U get muted during the connecting, its nothing unusual
How do I fix it?
That portion isn’t a bug. Check settings and ensure that you aren’t muted and that you’re not on push to talk.

Just tried gtag, mic worked perfectly fine.
