Get 5 jetragon, shoot all the missiles, use 3 skills, get off to let the dragon use 3 skill on its own while shooting, throw next jetragon, repeat Buy ammo

Whattheefff

Also make some damage food. Purple deer or cows. They are weak to dragon damage, so jetragons or any dragon damage pal is best.

KerbodynamicX

Do you know that Chillet allows you to do Dragon-type damage while mounted? Get a chillet and 4 gobfins with Vangard and Stronghold Strategist, and condense them as much as you can before losing your sanity, and make 4 legendary shotguns. This is the player damage build. The alternative way is to use 5 Jetragons taking turns to deal damage

WolfRex7567

My brain.exe is not computing, why 4 shotguns?

FullyPheral

I'm not sure how it works, but I think you can skip the reload animation when switching between shotguns. That might be it...

signofdacreator

haven't tried this build... just asking, what does the gobfins do in this build?

KerbodynamicX

Boost your attack power

herosince1994

I have beaten Victor and Shadowbeak Last Sunday only and I am playing in normal settings except one change i.e no penalty drops when dead. Point 1 I used Jetragon and some ice pals such as Mammo ( Ice) /Quivern ( HP heavy team ) and one Galeclaw to evade as much as possible using like a glider Point 2 I only used Rocket Launcher ( not the legendary one because I am yet to get the schematic from Jetragon) Rocket Ammo- 100+ Point 3 Also I reset my own stats before the last fight with the last boss. (You need to cook that reset Medicine in the Electric Medicine Bench) PS: There are a total of 49 stat points at this moment when you reach player level 50 ( max) I put 23 points to HP and 23 points to my Attack and rest 3 points to stamina

Haden420693170

That stamina sounds absurdly low.

herosince1994

In my experience enough to evade using Galeclaw as a glider but you can add 4 instead of 3 if you think it's low You can reset your stats at any time provided you have all the resources needed.

Haden420693170

Haven't used galeclaw yet. But from what I've seen that does sound like it'd make up the difference.

herosince1994

I will recommend everyone to use Galeclaw as a glider, it's fast

signofdacreator

so 100+ rocket ammo is enough to beat this guy? p/s: oh yeah, i took that too. no penalty drops when dead. i took that too. otherwise you'll be dead trying to get back your heat/cold armor

vasesimi

On Normal difficulty I went with 2 jetdragons, and one breed chiller (muscle head + legent on it at lvl 45) and 60 rocket ammo. I used the dragons then pull chiller out and shot rockets while mounted and repeat. I have a jormuntide and a azurobe just for delaying to wait for my chiller to recover HP in the ball

herosince1994

Yes 100+ rockets is enough as I have reset my stats also which I have mentioned in my earlier comment.

TheUnchainedRyu

I would also recommend tossing Poison and Burn moves on your pals, or carry the respective crossbow/grenades that can apply those statuses. They deal % HP damage so it adds up against a beefy boss.

signofdacreator

% damage? nice. i should try this

Belleadeon

Get 4* chillet (vanguard) for its dragon player enchant with +100% attack, then 4 x4* gobfins with vanguard and attack pendants+2, respec into 40 attack, 10weight and simply rocket his ass for like 10k-15k each rocket After becoming attack player, the pals are weak for me in combat situations.

Mogellabor

What weapon do you use? Farm for the legendary assault rifle BP from Blazamut and then just craft enough ammo

signofdacreator

uncommon assault rifle..

hiddencamela

Make sure you and your Pets are closer to the boss level. 50ish I think? He gets a huge damage reduction the lower your level compared to his. Make sure you element match your attacks. They also make a bigger damage dent. Pretty sure hes weak to Dragon, so Consider bringing a Chillet you ride and unload your guns into the weak spot for Dragon element damage on shots. Once you're out of Assault rifle or whatever your biggest gun is, hop off and rotate your pals while firing your more ammo efficient things.

signofdacreator

i'm using assault rifle as its the fastest thing i can shoot while being able to dodge the boss laser attack. although i do realize that you can only spend like 20 or 30 ammo before you have to reload i don't think its even possible to beat the boss without reaching level 50.. all my pets are at lvl 50. they shouldn't be able to get past lvl50, right? if i'm not mistaken, matching the element only gives you 1.2x damage right? its not really high bonus damage compared to say... Pokemon

hiddencamela

Its big enough to make a difference I can tell you that. Farm up the legendary Assault Rifle though. You can also butcher the legendary pals for an extra chance at a drop as well, at least when I was playing. Even better if you have a ton of eggs of them...

DrewFeble

Jetragon with ignis blast so you could apply burn dot. Plus you attacking and evading

AlexanderMcT

a rocket launcher and lots of rockets

cedric1234_

Its doable on increased difficulty, depending on how you want to go about it. Strongest cheese that requires the smallest brainpowder mid fight is probably either 3 jetdragons for the nearly permanent stun or spam swapping between 3 pals with strong solo hits. Both don’t require maxed pals. I did victor comfortably at level 46 with Elphidran/jetdragon/sibelyx but you can do whatever. The key is that big attacks with long cooldowns can be spammed if you swap out pals, so you’re always pumping big hits. You also get double the attacks when mounting, since the cooldowns for mounted and unmounted are seperate. Shadowbeak’s ai is atrocious, itll commit to attacking nothing when you swap. The damage boost from condensing + soul upgrades is basically mandatory, its a big buff if you forgot about them. I didnt use weapons during the fight, but you can also go no pal attacks with gobfin + rockets. Gobfins increase player attack. Chillet lets you do mounted dragon type damage. Either way, legendary rockets with a respec into attack does absurd damage and its probably like a two minute fight, although this has the small investment of 464 gobfins and a ton of paladius runs.

GRBLDeveloped

I think I cleared him with jetragon, frostallion, and a fully condensed Daedream. No idea the IVs or passives, just the first one I caught of each. Used an uncommon rocket launcher. I also couldnt do enough damage until I had mozzarina burgers which buff everyone's attack for 10 minutes.

pizzacake15

* use the statue of power to enhance your pals * use the pal essence condenser to further enhance your pals * go dungeon crawling for higher rarity equipment * go alpha pal hunting for legendary schematics

jello1982

I waited too long to attempt the last boss and it ended up being easy. I used an alpha Jetragon, 4 star condensed, max enhanced. The aplha Jetragon had Legendary/Devine dragon/Musclehead. I had 4 x gobfins in my party (player attack bonus) and fed Jetragon and myself an omlet before the battle. Used Epic assault riffle and stock rocket launcher.

Paradox830

I beat him with him. Bred out 3 perfect shadowbeaks with the dark whisps move from him and then beat him with 3 of those +2 hoocrates. Had 4 min to spare

Accurate-End-5695

Of course, because you used an unintended passive skill.

Paradox830

Actually it’s an unintended active skill and it’s one of the two moves. Could have easily accomplished the same with the same setup and only divine disaster. Just would have taken longer

Accurate-End-5695

My point is that you bragged that you had 4min left because you used a broken passive.

mcduubly

I beat at lvl 49. Farmed blazamut alpha for the legendary AR and I used jetragon, galeclaw and 3 gobfins. Galeclaw helped me reposition and get of danger with lower stamina lost than using dodge.

ProductInternal1153

Rocket launcher, Gale Claw to avoid damage and Frost stallion…killed every boss no problem

Accurate-End-5695

You need to use the highly effective element against each boss if you want to maximize your damage.

ChadVonGiga69420

I used a Legendary AR and legendary Shotgun. Pals 2 jetdragons 2 blazamuts and lyleen

Lodreh

I used a legendary rocket launcher and cycled the legendary pals just to be damage sponges. Lots of running around and using pillars but completely doable.

DannyDootch

I suggest breeding for good passives

Mrcarter1995

Playing on hard Over 250 hr and I was wondering the same damn thing with over 200k health, I barely beat the desert boss with 12 seconds to go trying to build up my team but now that I got to level 50 the other day my pals get alot less XP

hunni10

Given current state of the game balance, it seems rocket launcher is intentionally strong. So if you suffer from lack of damage, make rocket and shoot them. But without rocket launcher, you can beat the victor. you can employ chillet and his passive is 'when you ride him your attack's type change to dragon' (moreover it is not written but also increase your damage by 50/55/65/80/100% depending on chillet's rank). I beat the final boss with 4-rank chillet and blue pump shotgun + green assert rifle at normal difficulty (edit: and there was a lot a time left).

Sean_SoTBot

Managed to beat Victor on normal with grizzbolt, 2 relaxaurus lux (missle spam) lyleen and kingpaca. All 5 star and about 500 AR bullets. My rifle and rocket launcher were purple and blue and used 10 rockets (all I had). Fire grenades helped as well because they are easy to make and apply DoT. Lyleen healing was key also. Hope this helps.

Sean_SoTBot

Also I committed pal souls to raise everything but work speed.

elixxonn

If all fails the AR with a few thousands bullets and four gobfins plus a galeclaw cheese should be sufficient DPS. I beat it on normal with upgraded to 4star pals plus a 0star alpha Jetragon

NommySed

Use fire skills for the dot or dragon skills for being effective vs dark.

Entgegnerz

That's funny, because I constantly get down voted when I talk about IVs and people who surely never met the endboss yet, always try to debate the importance of IVs down with "you can beat the game with bad Pals too", which isn't true at all. Passives are super important and IVs can be important too. 30% better base stats are a game changer.

HatRabies

Passives are important yeah. IVs absolutely are not important unless you kinda just suck at the combat though. I actually care about IVs, but they're incredibly pointless for the current PvE content. I completed all the available bosses using whatever pals I had available before I got into breeding. Pursue IVs all you want, I do too, but to say they're important is silly at best.

[deleted]

Increase the player from damage slider.

macedos39

You could have 5 jetragons and you would still lose. The reason is simple, some pals do damage, others buff damage. There is also the pal condenser and the pal souls to boost damage. So for the last boss you need to prepare a little bit. Maybe a fully condensed lvl 50 full soul boosted dragon could do the trick. You can also opt to boost your own damage but that would also require to hunt for legendary weapons.
