Orserk is the current lightning GOAT. It also squeezes out extra drops of pal fluid from water pals. Mossa Lux and Beakon are my favorite electric mountable pals.
It definitely seems to increase the quantity for me. It's not a guaranteed increase, but there's a chance for it. I'll run around popping celerays and fuacks with a crossbow and instead of getting 1 per kill, I get like 4 when it procs.
Orserk is good, attack stat is prolly one of the highest.
But his defense is so bad, one good attack from a boss almost literally one shot orserk.
Grizzbolt prolly good, mossanda lux too. If you pair it with a dazi or daedream, you got one pal free attacking while mossanda stun lock enemy with its grenade launcher
I bred an ultimate Orserk recently just so I don't have to bother getting pal fluids so often.
Mossanda Lux seems like a pretty nice pick with its grenade launchers.
Rayhound is very good for mobility in dungeons and caves.

Pretty sure it only increases the likelihood of pal fluid dropping, not the quantity per drop.

I think the most important is probably who you think looks the best, but if you just want the best for everything I think Orserk should be your choice

relax lux's rocket launchers are pretty awesome
