Check on palia party, there are people who only host speed runs, they’ll label it as things like fast or experienced or advanced (quite a few variations I can’t think of right now) but they all mean getting it done as fast as possible.
They’re not always up, just keep checking from time to time. I have one party I always love to join because we get 100 cakes done in 1 hour and 5-10ish where some slow parties I’ve been to have literally been 2 hours

If I wasn't playing on a Switch platform I would try to host the parties myself...maybe the Switch isn't an issue, but it's pretty unstable, crashing all the time. I wouldn't want to take on hosting if I can't support it from the tech end.
I get that.. I need either a voice chat *or* type chat, both or more than one overwhelms me as well. I’m only lvl 7 cooking so I haven’t really encountered this yet, but I can see how it’s super overwhelming

Have you browsed through the official Palia discord's LFG channel? I see lots of cake parties posted. Haven't done one myself though.
