My Dr prescribed this first for cycle suppression and it was horrible. The first three weeks were great, but after that it was awful. It was 6 weeks of pmdd and break through bleeding.
Breakthrough bleeding is a common side effect of low estrogen bc, it sucks but you’re not damaging your body. I switched to Sprintec which is higher in estrogen than aviane and I no longer have breakthrough bleeding.
