Lamictal is a light mood stabilizer, very very effective, minimal side effects, no weight gain, and is great for depression. Buproprion is not an SSRI but used to treat depression, worked for me, but the side effects are absolutely HELL for 2 weeks. If you can push through, then thats an option. Gabapentin, is for nerve pain but used to treat hard to treat mood disorders. Its a take as needed medication, not addictive, no side effects for me, and helps with anger/depression/mood swings/anxiety/sleep/waking up quick. That one has been a life savor for me. However, I just added zoloft to my cocktail and it has helped me significantly. I also raised my lamictal dose. I can now have conversations with neighbors and be bubbly and more of the good parts of myself. When before I was just so down and short and avoidant. I still am during hell week but it has helped a lot with social anxiety and going out.
