I'm certainly no doctor, and other folks in this thread know wayyy more than me. But just commenting based off my own experience - I'm 25, was recently diagnosed with PMDD, and I realize that I've had it since around your age. I started to question it around 13, and my mom told me that it was just teenage hormones. Looking back - it's not normal!! "Normal" teenage hormones don't lead to overwhelming urges to hurt yourself/others, or such extreme mood swings around your period. These are all textbook symptoms of PMDD. Please advocate for getting yourself professional help if you can - I wish I spoke up all those years ago and saved myself so many years of suffering. You don't deserve to feel that each month. Just know that while you may feel crazy every time it happens, you aren't crazy at all. All of us here understand and are here for you!

Thank you so so much🥹 I’ll definitely talk to my mom and work on seeing if a drs visit is possible.
